Milli Vanilli is a totally different case. They recorded zero songs and had a good career which they do not deserve. JLo built an empire and a brand for herself. Yes there are a couple of tracks that feature obvious backing vocals from other singers but it’s not as bad as people make it out to be. This practice is more common than you think.

There has to be a reason why she never went on tour with her songs. in the 90's and early 2000.

How about we get our ears checked and give a high quality version of JLo’s Jenny From The Block another spin and compare. The two. Yes the demo is used in the background but you can tell JLo’s vocals are there. 
 

it’s not uncommon for demos to be repurposed and used in the final mastered track. Give Quicksand a listen and it’s obvious that the chorus is Gaga’s voice layered behind Britney’s. same thing for the chorus of HATLM (Ina Wroldsen). It’s a normal practice in the industry, I don’t get the hate. I can name many others but I thought Britney’s example will hit home for you. Much love.

I know that it is a normal practice and i was disappointed with Britney Jean myself, there is a difference between backgroundvocals (which is completely fine to do that!) or a unknown singer is taking over the track. 

All i know is: Jenny From The Block sounds not the same live, same goes for Work *****.

Is that so? I’ve seen her 4 times live and couldn’t tell the difference apart from being remixed.

we have st nicolas 6th dec and xmas 24-25th of dec and then epiphany on 6th jan
