RCA Records has removed the Glory (2016 Deluxe Edition) from Apple Music, meaning we can no longer stream Slumber Party feat Tinashe.

Also removed is Glory (2020 Standard Edition).

i personally like to see the new cover being placed along with the other albums :yesplease_yas_agree_preach: (though it means we lost Slumber Party w Tinashe) :wendycry_wiliams_panicked_crying_tears_upset_sad:

also, they censored the word “*******” in the clean version of Slumber Party. Before this the word crazy was repeated twice in the clean version.

I hope they don't erase the remix from all the platforms.

They should have the two versions, solo and the remix. I don't know If this has to do with the fact Tinashe left RCA, but is disrespectful to her removing the woman like It was nothing.

They shouldn't have replace the solo version with the remix in the first place. Every other artist  let the two versions available, I don't know what's so hard for Britney team and label to do that, It could help the streams even more.

Glory has been such a mess of a release.

  1. The Make Me video getting scrapped
  2. Two music videos for Make Me released, but one only through a game app
  3. The David LaChapelle photoshoot that got scrapped for “screenshot” artwork
  4. Different track lists for the streaming album vs the physical CD album
  5. Slumber Party ft. Tinashe replacing the solo version on the Glory streaming tracklist rather than just being released as a single
  6. Glory being re-released online with Mood Ring + new cover in summer of 2020
  7. Mood Ring “(By Demand)” - just leave the original name ffs
  8. Glory being re-released in late 2020 with another new cover, at first only on vinyl, no announcement
  9. Glory being re-released in late 2020 on streaming platforms but now with the physical CD tracklist (DYWCO is #2)
  10. Slumber Party the solo version replaces Tinashe on the re-release tracklist
  11. Original 2016 Glory release gets removed all together

I know Britney isn’t working, but it’s always blown my mind how disorganized and unprofessional her team has been at times starting with the FF era all the way up to now. There have just been so many instances where they have shown that they just have no strategy or plan or think things all the way through at times.

I never cared for the Tinasha version of Slumber Party. It changed hardly anything. I bought Glory back in 2016 before they added her to it thankfully.

Glory is definitely another Radar situation. Her team seemed so on top of things during the primeney years but how have they become so disorganized and unable to market things properly??

I always loved Slumber Party as a solo song, and thought it was cute when Tinashe was added. But kinda frustrating since she didn’t sing new verses.

At least I can hear her verses in the music video! :queenflopga_walk_sass_pink: Unless RCA dubs the solo version over the video, making it seem like Tinashe is lip syncing Britney’s part :queenflopga_pink_sass_walking_away_bye:

Can they just have both versions, what’s so hard lol

tinashe is a great artist and I know a lot of u think it was unnecessary but she’s a huge Britney fan and in my opinion did add a fun twist to the song. The video was next to perfect minus the editing they did on Britney’s nose for no reason

why can’t they legit just have both versions up?

well, the change of labels started with the Criminal single, so it makes sense the mess it's been the past few years.

there was also the record label sending Make Me... / Me, Myself and I to the radios trying to make it happen, begging them to play it, instead of moving on to the next single.

The removal of the previous versions of Glory, does make sense, because it's confusing and messy (Japan, and I think other Asian countries too, also have the Japan Tour version of the album), but they removed Tinashe version with it. It would be fine if it was released as a single, as you said, but the Slumber Party EP only includes remixes and not the standard SP ft. Tinashe.

I don't think eliminating Tinashe version isn't precisely because she left RCA, but more because they're just getting rid of the old Glory versions, unless she left in super bad terms or something, because my question is, are the rest of her albums also removed from streaming platforms? :idkney_britney_glory_carpool_karaoke_unsure_idk_nervous: I think at the end of the day, the record labels are always the bigger ones when it comes to these contracts. It makes more sense that they keep her material and in any case, she would be the one not able to use these songs on the new record label, such as in compilations or stuff.

Also, the music video would be removed from YouTube then :yaknow_britney_xfactor_X_factor_talk_tell_chat_you_know:

Literally not even that mess of Britney Jean was so messy as Glory. Her team is so ******* unprofessional

They also removed Glory from iTunes several times and thus why Glory has the least reviews on iTunes and making it seems like the album wasn’t bought by anyone. They first removed it when the Tinashe version was released and now they’ve removed every other version as well, leaving only the 2020 version.
