Why isn't the judge ruling in Britneys favor.

I understand it's a long process and there has been some wins for Britney but they are not completely helping her or granting her request. What could be the reason for this? I feel like we need to get the judge to go over all the evidence provided on these forums.Β

Are we missing facts? Is there more to this then we are letting on? All the arrows are pointing to corruption but maybe jamie is actually really smart and performing within the legal limits so theres really nothing they can do. Maybe they are really making it out that she is crazy? Idk something seems weird. Like Amanda bynes has acted way crazier as of lately and yet shes been able to get out of hers fairly quickly.

No one knows. Conservatorship law has to be one of the most messed up laws of all time. And James constant fights with Britney ain't helping. And him fighting this with every atom of energy will drag this for years.

Even if mental evaluation says that a person is fine. Conservatorship can't be lifted right away. Which is insane. By the time it's supposed to be lifted Conservator can abuse conservatee to the point her/his mental health gets bad again

Β

It's never ending circle of abuse sadly. Especially with evil ppl in charge.

Cases like this takes time,Β  The judge said she shouldn't be on it, so there's hope.Β Β

Β

But in the court, this is ongoing for 12 years, that's like 2 to 3 years in court.Β

Β

They have to shift through tyr lines and the truth.Β

Β

Why do you think Sam asked for a couple of months to investigate her Funds and what she's financially worth.Β

Β

Because that would prove if her money is being stolen from her.Β

Like others have said, this is unfortunately how the court system works, everything getting dragged out and taking a long time isn’t unique to Britney,Β as hard as it is, we just have to have patience.

Apparently the judge was also upset that both sides submit their paperwork so late, maybe that also plays a part. Perhaps ifΒ she hadΒ a good amount of time to thoroughly go over all the paperwork, maybe more could be happening at these individual hearings. I could be wrong, it’s just a thought.

Of course there's more than we'll ever know going on. This forum likes to pretend like they have all the details and facts and the truth is that we do not. Of course we want what's seemingly best for Britney but honestly we have no clue. We're not close to her, her family, her team, her legal matters, her mental issues, etc.Β

In that CNN article, a c-ship expert said that obviously the court is finding reasons to keep the c-ship alive. That's obvious. It does seem weird to us that it has been going on for 12 years, but like I said, we don't know the details of anything so we can't say 100% what's best for someone that we don't even know.

you can't take that CNN article as gospel. There have been many other people that works with conservatorships saying instead, that Britney's case is more than unusual and there aren't strong reasons for it to exist. It's been explained countless times, that if there was a mental issue for Britney to be put under a conservatorship, the kind of conservatorship that she's in, is not it. And that's not speculation but it's literally what the law states.

Β

But anyways, to the OP, giving the benefit of doubt to the judge, by being a judge she needs to remain impartial, and sadly, being impartial doesn't mean siding with Britney because we love her. EVEN if she believed that she doesn't need the conservatorship, this isn't the thing that the lawyers are disputing right now. All these hearings have been about stuff like sealing the documents, objecting the accounting reports, and this back and forth about the hearsay, and who can speak on Britney's behalf, and blah blah blah and most of the dragging has come from Jamie's team which keeps bringing the silliest arguments to oppose everything that Ingham asked. And again, if the judge really is impartial, she has to hear both sides and follow the process (as flawed as this is).

The few things that have been specifically asked like leaving Jodi Montgomeri as the personal conservator instead of Jamie, have been granted. So the naming of Bessemer Trust as co-conservator of the estate. Unfortunately, Ingham didn't formally request the removal of Jamie, or at least he didn't on time, that's why he's still there.Β

So of course we all wished Judge Penny came into the room hitting the table with her mallet and chanting "I'm gonna free Britney!" but that's not gonna happen until someone files the right petitions, in this case, it seems only Ingham can do that. And still, Jamie's team will obviously fight back.Β Β Only then the judge could ask for proper evidence and testimonies from both sides and make a concrete resolution, but again, that's not what is happening right now. All these hearings have been to solve meaningless stuff that Jamie keeps fighting.Β
