Lol maybe. But real lawyers wouldn't be here commenting on all this. They would know we don't have all the facts and they aren't dealing with the actual case, It would be all assumptions and opinion, which is useless to the situation. Link to comment

And I believe @Slayer works in the law but no idea if he's a lawyer. I'm not a lawyer. But I do research for lawyers, under their direction, and my research has to be legally and factually accurate so it will stand up in court. So, I have to understand the law, and I've read my fair share of court transcripts and sat through my fair share of testimony. (Full disclosure...I'm in a different country, and it's not conservatorship or entertainment law that I specialize in.) I do know that a good lawyer will go into a case with a strategy. It's not about what they may or may not know to be true at any given time, it's about what they can get onto the court record. Once it's on the court record, they can refer back to it later, and start to paint the other side into a corner using the other side's own submissions or their own testimony. Example: Samuel Ingham has said that Britney can't speak herself because she's nearly comatose (I'm paraphrasing here). What he's done is used Jamie's own words, from past submissions, and bent them back on Jamie. And there's nothing Jamie can do about it, because Jamie used the comatose excuse himself many times over the past 12 years to prevent Britney from testifying in other court cases. That's why I say that Samuel Ingham already knows 1000x more than we do...His goal right now is likely to get Jamie's own lawyers to paint themselves into a corner through the "discovery" process. They either need to put all of the accounting on the table, and then be prepared to defend themselves after, or they're going to get caught not putting it all on the table, which will make it even worse for them when they do get caught. 10 Link to comment

Eh, @thesurprisewitness is a lawyer who works with the California legal system and often makes public court documents more understandable, so a bit of a generalization. We may not know everything but we know via Britney's court appointed lawyer that she "appreciates" the support from fans and a lot of information has been unveiled so. 2 1 2 Link to comment

Thinking that no one can be well-read on a topic, do their own research, and draw their own conclusions without being a literal specialist in a topic I can't. As if there have never been stupid doctors or corrupt lawyers, not to mention wildly influential and well-argumented thinkers who have no formal education. Critical theory is an entire discipline hun. 1 2 Link to comment
