Ariana Grande says her heart is looking forward to a change of pace

Ariana Grande announced a Sweetener Tour special titled "excuse me, i love you" is coming to Netflix on December 21st.

In her post announcing it, Ariana says her heart is looking forward to a change of pace. Is she going to dip out of the scene for the next few years?

3 studio Albums back to back, a soundtrack project and a live album.

 

The last 3 all bombed.

 

Yes just because it's #1 doesn't mean it's a success,  several #1 album's have turned out to be commercial duds..

I think she deserves to take a step back for a minute. She's been going non-stop for the last few years. She also dealt with a lot of things in the public eye and stayed strong. I wouldn't hold it against her.

I think she needs a break because she's had a lot to handle in three years, and her albums and sound have started to become stale.

That being said, why do artists always say something like this when they're not doing as well as they were?

Yes please take a break. She's released albums 3 years in a row and collabed with practically everyone who matters, and now I'd like her to disappear for a few years and hopefully return with strong material, because Positions wasn't it.

I doubt it. her acting is abysmal. She can only do comedy, campy roles that make fun of herself like scream queens.

A break would be good. She could work with different producers, live life a little and inspire herself. I’m here for it. We have plenty of material to hold us in the meantime.

When she sAid change of pace I thought faster? She doesnt do promo. She barely does anything besides putting albums out that were made mainly by other people. Socia media activity all in dark. Tweeting doesnt count for hard work. Tour was for two albums? Shes not doing photoshoots or any other projects. Am I missing something as her stan? All my other faves are working hard as in hosting things, making music, performing, designing fashion, producing perfume, being a manager to other people, having her own label, dancing, all why having 3 kids and when she was pregnant. Ari remains laziest pop girl :(

I hope so.   I loved her stuff most of the time & Thank U Next was a peak for me.  
 

But Positions was blah to me.  And at this point I’m a bit annoyed with her showing me she’s a bit overexposed.   She needs to take a break & she completely deserves it. Take a moment then come back & slay again.

I personally liked Positions (The Album). I like her slow r&b stuff BUT she gets a little to...nasty for me  maybe I’m traditional but if Britney said some of the things Ari said in her recent songs  Anyway, I think her change of pace might mean - covid-19 lockdown, watch her concert and chillax for the holidays   She needs to release Motive as a single asap

I think a break would be great. Too much exposure is a bad thing. She's had her moment and she has the talent to lay low and come back with a new creative sound. She's one of faves at the moment and I see potential in her. She's given me some moderate prime Britney vibes at some points.
