On December 08, 1999, the Billboard Music Awards of that year took place in Las Vegas at the MGM Grand Garden Arena. Britney Spears was there to perform a medley of ...Baby One More Time and (You Drive Me) Crazy.

 

Britney Spears was also the most nominated artist of the night, with 8 nominations, winning 5 out of them, thus becoming the most awarded artist too.

Love the performance but the overall arrangement of the Europe Music Awards performance wins for me....plus the Dublin crowd were better.

Wow  what a unique TDIP!! Even though this is a huge moment for most, in Britney's expansive career, this is just another moment. Which is crazy if you think about it. But it's still so cool to celebrate it. That's what life is all about: enjoying the moments.

The 1999 EMAs is the only other one I can think of. 

The camera angle on the one from the EMAs isn't great when she does the backflip but it might have been a blessing... because it looked like her arm gave way. She managed to recover tho.
