Your PERFECT Glory Album and Era

I'm sure this has already been posted before and is not a very original idea, but now that we have gotten Mood Ring, SWTS and Matches, as well as all the pictures from the desert photoshoot...

What would the PERFECT Glory album and era look like to you?  

What songs would you choose as singles?

What songs would you include or take off the album?

What would the order of the track list look like? 

Which picture would you use as the album cover?

Would you re-name the Glory album as something different or keep the album title?

What would be your ideal promo performance/ promo campaign look like?

-i keep the title name

-Performed all those songs in the megamix on billboard, perform 2 of these  on vma and matches with the backstreetboys, release the 6 songs track by track then full album, no vegas a time off for the album for a year chill promo but good promo

I’d keep Make Me as the lead single along with the original video. It did decent and I think with the original video it would have been so much bigger. 
 

I love Slumber Party but I think “Better” would have been a smash. It sounded so much like what radio would overplay during that era. 
 

as third single I’d want to slow it down and go with “Just Love Me”

 

fourth single “Liar”. Sounds like such an anthem. 
 

fifth single “Slumber Party with Tinashe” and keep the same video.

 

6th and 7th single would be double singles Man on The Moon and Swimming in the Stars 

 

I’d remove Private Show and Matches. I feel they don’t really fit the album

   - Continues the Toxic/Womanizer storyline.
   - Lots of radio play. Performed on talk shows.  
   - #9 debut. 6 weeks.

   - Similar promotion to Liar.

Album drops September 2 with og photoshoot.  
   - Debuts at #1.

OMG! I LOVE a lot of your ideas! Slumber Party with Rihanna would've been so awesome especially since we had the S&M remix from Riri before! Also Rihanna would sound great on that track since it has like an island vibe.

I also love the idea of continuing the toxic/ womanizer story line with Liar!!! I could see it being like a country/ cowboy feel... but not in a cheesy way... or maybe yes in a cheesy way. haha

I'm not a huge fan of matches or private show, so I agree with you haha. Also I LOVE the idea of a man on the moon/ swimming with the stars double single release! Do you imagine like a name for this double single release... or a music video concept for both together?

I didn’t think of that. But you know now I imagine a music video that has both tracks and it’s storyline based. A mini movie. Starting with man on the moon on the beach staring at the sunset. Looking happy even tho she’s singing the sad lyrics to Man on the Moon. Dancing in the sand. Almost as therapy for her getting over her ex and being silly. And then the sun fully sets and goes into swimming in the stars and she realizes she’s not over her lover and sings while starring at the stars/moon

Make Me should never have been the lead single. It’s a mediocre song and the video was just all wrong and had no meaning. 

I’d have released Man on the Moon then launched the album with If I’m Dancing. Change Your Mind would have been the 3rd single and Slumber Party would have been 4th.

She could have re-released the album with additional songs including Mood Ring, SWTS and matches or just removed What You Need, Clumsy and Private Show. That would have made for a really strong album

Hmm let’s see,  the standart cover art would be the pose that kinda looks like Xtina’s “Your Body” single cover(it doesn’t really look like that but I don’t know how to describe it better ) from the desert photoshoot and the deluxe would be the 2020 re-re-release cover.

Release the first single at the Billboard medley at the beginning of summer. Also I’d re-record Private Show and What You Need’s chipmunk parts with human vocals.  Oh, and I’d use pre-recorded vocals for the performances and interact with the crowd more to make the impression she’s live.

Rework parts of thé show and have some famous guest (kylie rihanna cheryl) for a big special and record the POM show at the BRIGHTON GP to make it online

(her biggest audiences since forever) 

Do again Rock in Rio she was def in shape in 2016/2017 to do that to promote her name and Glory.

The “Glory” era had so much potential but was let down by poor choices. Britney seemed to be the most engaged after a long time and she looked great, and most importantly the music was actually really good, up there with some of her best work. 

I’d have liked the era to have gone like this:

The album track listing would have stayed largely unchanged. The artwork for the album and the singles would have been the work of David La Chapelle.
