Shania previously spoke about the experience:

“She was working with my ex-husband in the studio, and I got to say hello while she was in the studio because it was at our home in Switzerland in 1999” said Shania, inciting laughs from the audience during Fuse’s recent interview with her at Spotify HQ in New York City. “She was very sweet. It was a great experience just to get to know her on a behind-the-scenes level a little bit. It was obviously an honor to have her record some of my songwriting...Britney did a beautiful job with the song.”

Those DAT tapes were mostly used to transport vocals from studio to studio back in the 90s so it's probably 4 vocal takes/layers from Britney

This is one of my favorite ballads. Everytime was genius too and I love that she wrote it. Britney just soars on this track and I think the world of Shania😍 Brit’s voice has so much natural character, just her vocals and a simple melodic tune is heaven to my ear drums lol

DLMBTLTK is such an underrated gem! 
I was only like 10 when it came out and hated it, but as I’ve gotten older, it’s without a doubt one of my favourites. It would’ve been more at home on the Britney album though imo, swapped with Not A Girl on Oops.
