Jennifer Lopez says she's never had botox: "I'm not that person"

I agree that dermal filler is bad but Botox isn’t filler. It’s basically a nerve agent that paralyzes certain muscles in your face; for older people it stops lines from becoming evident when you make certain facial expressions, for younger people it’s helpful in preventing creases from appearing as you age by freezing areas that would otherwise wrinkle over time (that’s why I use it).

Sorry, this article lumped them together. The kinds you inject in your cheeks and such are fillers. Botox isn’t bad around the eyes and forehead rereading this article. I guess I was referring to Hyaluronic acid fillers.

I actually wash my body with avocado oil, aloe vera, or grape seed oil. Essential oils are cytotoxic for your skin.

So I use this brand, oumere.com. Most brands are cytotoxic for your skin and ages you faster.

Botox is terrible. It’s a filler so it stretches the skin. Once the filler disintegrates ... well ... your left with saggy skin. What’s worse is that filler lasts longer in the skin than they claim, so ... if your doing it every year.

I have literally seen pictures of her with "pillow face" she just hides it well with makeup and lighting. I don't get why people constantly deny the obvious.

I agree. What bothers me most is the “I’m not that person” comment. Getting a little something done isn’t really a big deal and choosing not to doesn’t make you a noble or great person. Aging naturally is totally fine and dandy but don’t act like you’re better than people, especially when it’s probably not true.

Wasn't botox originally for migranes but failed until it got rebranded for something else..

A certain pill popular for men 60 and older was originally for heart and other issues, but it turned out to have a great benefit..

That pill was vi*****. Bob Dole's wife was very happy that little pill brought the Spice in their marriage. He was 75 when he was the spoken.

She says this thinking she’s somehow above everyone

the reality is 99% of regular ppl can’t look like this. She’s not relatable,

she’s really not, she has money for the best scrubs, ice baths, facials, chemical peels, and vitamin injections. Genes obviously play a role in this but, a lot of it is MONEY.
it’s amazing that she’s above Botox and “isn’t that person”, I just wonder what kind of a person she actually is then, a rich one?

I still love her despite her high maintenance qualities so everything she is saying is very hypocritical given most of her fame is due to her looks. Her face has changed over the years so she definitely got plastic work done yet says she’s never had Botox. Her face is pulled tight man.

That is hyaluronic acid, not botulin, which is a neurotoxin that paralyzes the muscle or diminishes its strength, so dynamic wrinkles are less pronounced. Correctly applied and with the right frequency (no sooner than six months between applications) it works wonders. Hyaluronic acid is a filler.

I don't believe her, sorry. If you know a bit about the subject, you know she has had things. No cream in the world can have that effect. She definitely uses things. Maybe it is not botox, but there are top of the line machines that have smoothing and tension increasing effects over the skin by stimulating collagen production through radiofrequency and heat, stimulating fibroblasts, which are the cells that start diminishing their activity after you hit 25. There are also collagen boosters (which are not fillers) and a thousand procedures. So yeah, maybe she doesn't use botox haha!

lol well I wasn't speculating whether she has done anything. For all we know, she got a face lift or got something removed around her neck. Much better and more permanent effects.

Jennifer Lopez reveals she's never had botox. Queen of natural aging!

“I haven’t ever had Botox to this day,” she said via Page Six.

“I’m not that person. I don’t have anything against people doing that; it’s just not my thing. I’m more about a natural approach to skincare … but I want [my products] to work. I want the hyaluronic acid in there. I want the things that are going to help, because I don’t want to have to go to the needles at some point. I’m not saying one day I won’t, but I haven’t yet.”

jlo-botox.jpg.5fe5ccd8cd0127d5c0dc362484210e2e.jpgShe also shared a story about this dude who wanted her to get botox.

“I was in my 20s and I was dating this guy,” she said. “He went to one dermatologist and I went to another dermatologist. Basically, my dermatologist gave me a great cleanser and some sunscreen and said, ‘If you do this from now on, your skin is healthy, you’re young right now, it’s going to be great.'”

Her ex’s doctor had a different opinion.

“She said, ‘Did you know you have a little line right here? We should start Botox.’ I mean, I had to be 23 years old, right? And I was like, ‘I’m going to pass,'” Lopez shared.

“I didn’t like needles anyway, but the boyfriend’s like, ‘Yeah, you should start it. I do that.’ I was like, ‘No, thank you.’ And I just wonder what would’ve happened to me if I would’ve started Botox at 23, what I would look like right now. My face would be a totally different face today.”

Queen of never aging and not getting botox.

Exhale, do any of you get botox?

lol it doesnt necesarrily need to be botox. ;) but in general i think it has to do with her latino genes. looking at her sister and mother
