This stupid wannabe thinking she's better than Britney because she writes her own music and sings live. No one ever said you have to do both to be a respected singer or a success in music. Britney is an extraordinary studio performer, and that's a fact. Also, each artist is different and unique, and there's room for everyone. Is Britney the most loved and popular? Yes, she was, and still is. And if she isn't now, she'll end up being so in the future. I guess Meghan can't deal with that. But if Xtina, Britney's strongest and most valid competitor, could finally maturely accept Britney's overpowering charisma and popularity, a second class artist like Meghan should as well. So chill. The eff. Up.
And my gawd be grateful for having recorded a future Christmas classic, you ungrateful b itch.

I fkn hate when people imply that just because a singer writes their own music it automatically makes it good or more valuable  when that isn't true. call me when meghan actually produces her own beats like Doja Cat and FKA Twigs do. 

it's the same for vocals, you can be a great vocalist and still make bad music. just because someone has great vocals doesn't mean they're a great artist with a vision , you can have a great voice and have awful taste. 

Brit is a popstar. Yeah she lipsyncs so what? Pop music is about fantasy, the important thing here is the finished product. we don't give a damn about reality in this kind of approach. It's excessive pop aesthetics, assumed, fabricated and reflected as such.

I do Britney will always be my top star because of her whole package. But I saw some videos of bp live and doing choreography, which is not at Britneys level at her prime and I was shocked how well they were singing. It's pretty damn good.

Like, its OK for Britney to use a prerecorded Britney vocal.

But to be fair she isn’t 100% wrong. Britney doesn’t write, doesn’t sing live, and has handlers push her image. This is clearly her label and her teams issue  and I think when Britney is free I hope she comes out with something that is true to HER and HER VOICE.

Ohhhhhhhh, so she was  shading  Milli Vanilli or something. She's not actually trying to slight Britney with her comment, if anything what she's saying AT LEAST Britney Spears lip-syncs to her own vocals.

The way I interpret her words, Meghan didn’t intend to shade Britney, but it was kinda unnecessary to mention the lip syncing. Especially when she was trying to show how much of a Britney fan she is.
