Cardi B is Named Billboard's Woman of the Year

Every year, Billboard holds its annual Women in Music. The Women of the year isn't about the music – more so about charities and such.

Artists from Selena Gomez, Madonna, Taylor Swift, Beyonce, and others have been honored.

Last year's Woman of the Year was Billie Eilish. Taylor Swift was Woman of the Decade. 

This year, Cardi B is Billboard's Woman of the Year for 2020. 

JLo, Dua Lipa and Dolly Parton will also be honored.

I'm sure this will be very controversial and a huge debate. 

 

 

But anyway... congrats Cardi B.

Dua Lipa gave us the album of the year and served quarantine bops. She lit the match to the 2020 Disco and dance music revival and what does she get? Just an honor? Lady Gaga even in these trying times has donated to various charities and gave us one of the biggest female collabs of this year. Not to mention the success of Chromatica. Meghan Thee Stallion herself ate CARDI in her own song and collab. All of these women, but out of ALL them, the choose Cardi B? Whyyyy?
