On November 17, 1998, Britney Spears joined the NSYNC in Concert tour as the opening act for their second leg. She participated in 38 concerts in total, along with pop bands Sweetbox and B*Witched from November through January 1999. In the summer of 1998 she had already embarked on her own promotional mall tour, the L'Oreal Hair Zone Tour.

 

The setlist consisted of (You Drive Me) Crazy, Sometimes, Born to Make You Happy, Thinkin' About You and ...Baby One More Time.

She sung the entire tour live, I believe. .

It's rumoured that the lip syncing thing started because her voice allegedly got tired.

I know...because my cousin was a JT fan and she hated Britney but the irony is...she's the same age as Britney so I know it was jealousy

Lol I know JTs fans trashed Britney bc some of them shared some rare pics of them leaving some places together while they were still trying to deny the rumours 

They were so jealous of Britney those fools, as if Britney couldnt do better than JT when she had people like Ben Affleck and Prince William crushing on her  I loved Nsync when I was a kid, but even I knew Britney was too attractive for him lmfao

In late 98/early 99 there were already rumours about them and Justin always denied or kept silent

So sad that there is no video material in a good quality of the N´Sync concerts, her mall tour, and her Baby One More Time concerts. With what is out there, you can rarely see anything .Even the Circus  tour fan videos are better. Why we never get a DVD?! I hate her team so much.

So iconic! I remember Britney saying in an interview years ago that at the beginning of this tour she got booed a lot and some fans even threw food at her. Regardless if you liked Britney, that is so rude!

I sort of remember hearing things back then about how terrible fangirls of NSYNC were to her when she performed. They were so jealous she had Justin.

She is such a legend. She always gave it her all and her performances were always incredible, so much star quality. These girls these days really have nothing on Britney Spears.

Who is Britney Spears? She seems like a cute girl, but I doubt her career will go anywhere. NSYNC, on the other hand, those guys will stay together FOREVER. Unless JC decides to go solo. He's so obviously the one carrying the group.
