If you're pertaining to Taylor, I agree.

Teenage Dream defined CHILDHOODS ezgif-3-d0eb933f05c8.gif

Whose going to singing competitions singing Shake it off? Nobody, because Firework is already the first choice ezgif-3-d0eb933f05c8.gif

Who has had a much more memorable and iconic era? Teenage dream ezgif-3-d0eb933f05c8.gif

Which album has the most #1s since MJ's Bad era? Teenage dream ezgif-3-d0eb933f05c8.gif

Most platinum singles? Teenage Dream ezgif-3-d0eb933f05c8.gif

In this period, Katy was the biggest superstar in the WORLD ezgif-3-d0eb933f05c8.gif

And this is why TD will rightfully go as the biggest pop era of the last decade with a strong tie with LOUD ezgif-3-d0eb933f05c8.gif

Quality is not indicated by total units sold. ezgif-3-d0eb933f05c8.gif

Is Britney Spears' best album ...Baby One More Time because it sold the most copies of her albums? ezgif-3-d0eb933f05c8.gif

Never mentioned quality but the impact and influences.

Katy managed to sell gigantic singles with two eras (Teenage Dream & PRISM) alone having the same pop-oriented formula.

That was the impact and influence she established in early 2010's, that even without making a beef or making a huge reinventing, as long as your project has quality, it will sell.

You forgot Bangerz by Miley Cyrus. ezgif-3-d0eb933f05c8.gif.

Lady Gaga? She was THE main pop artist in that era, so. ezgif-3-d0eb933f05c8.gif

You're obviously biased considering you picked two eras from your fave artists. ezgif-3-d0eb933f05c8.gif

Teenage Dream is literally generic pop music, that's why it's loved so much.

Some people really tend to consider a body of work generic if it's well received by GP, and as they so called the artist's peak.

Teenage Dream has some of the well written and produced tracks. Accept it or be forever bitter about it. :nyschool_new_york_miss_tiffany_pollard_preaching_telling_talking_hand:

the album has songs like "Peacock" on it, I wouldn't exactly consider it well-written. ezgif-3-d0eb933f05c8.gif

It's generic and fun, that's why it's loved so much. Because people wanted generic pop music back after having R&B being mainstream for so many years. If this was her artistic peak, I'd hate to delve into the rest of her discography. ezgif-3-d0eb933f05c8.gif

The early-2010s was filled with huge eras from different female artist. ezgif-3-d0eb933f05c8.gif

So if i am just picking one era out of all the other huge eras, because it was an album that quite stood out ezgif-3-d0eb933f05c8.gif

Fame Monster Era, Teenage Dream Era and Loud Era are the trinity of female pop eras of the early-2010s ezgif-3-d0eb933f05c8.gif

But we r now talking only about Katy, because she was by her own as huge as Gaga at the time so to compare them both isnt relevant ezgif-3-d0eb933f05c8.gif
