Britney Spears' "Swimming In The Stars" lyrics (99% confirmed to be real)

Recommended Posts

Glory has produced some of her best lyrics and vocals IMO... There was for the first time in forever a maturity to Britney as an artist, I hope this continues with new material (obviously with a classic Britney banger thrown in now and then)

It's Invitation, Man on the Moon, Mood Ring and from what I've heard Swimming in the Stars for me. :anxiety_pill_struggle_panic_ahh_bottle_Wendy_williams_shake_shaking:

True. Slumber party could have been huge. Its up there with the weeknd's starboy... the vocals, production is too good. :cigney_britney_smoking_smoke_lit_light_2007_fur_cigarette:

Make me on the otherhand has a really good replay value. I can listen to it all day without getting tired.

Also, the lyrics seem beautiful and ethereal. Very cosmic. I'm really vibing to space-related Britney songs. :wink_britney_everytime_white:

I knew I stanned Henry Cavill. :thirsty_britney_onyx_drink_flirt_drinking_sipping_fan_hot:

Anyways, we have a **** ton of space-themed songs at this point.

  • Alien
  • Brightest Morning Star
  • Heaven On Earth
  • Hold It Against Me (music video)
  • Kill The Lights (music video)
  • Man On The Moon
  • Oops!...I Did It Again (music video)
  • Outta This World
  • Pretty Girls (music video)
  • Till The World Ends (music video)
  • Unusual You

And now Swimming In The Stars.

And let's not forget her role on SNL as an alien.

And her outer-spacey photoshoot for the Oops album.

Homegirl LOVES her a space aesthetic, maybe even more than she does a butterfly aesthetic, which is what I always considered to be her staple.

This song reminds me of "Hold On Tight".When these lyrics are really true, it will be one of my Top Ten favorites songs of all time of her. The lyric reminds me of someone I still really love but has passed away a long time ago. Britney is the best therapist in this world.:crying1_britney_sobbing_tears_2006_sad::otears_oprah_crying_tissue_napkin_tears_sobbing_sad:

Especially this lines:

Dream me to life
Write our names in the pillowed skies
We could meet in our minds
If our days count us out of time

Keep me in reach
Hold your breath 'til we're in too deep
Where thе sun's out of heat
We're awakе in the deepest sleep

And we'll stay alive
In seas of city lights
Where you and I collide

It is inspired by the same person, that's why it reminds you of "Hold on Tight".

Some of the best lyrics of her career were always relegated to B-sides, track whatever and discards from studio sessions. They always chose the repetitive ultra ***ual, I am looking for you in the club thing for way too long. This one sounds refreshing.

I don’t think that’s fair. A lot of fans love the mid tempo songs. Songs like Breathe On Me, Inside Out, I Run Away, Unusual You, Man On The Moon etc get a lot of love!

As for Make Me. I think people like it but it’s probably not the strongest song on Glory so it wasn’t the best lead single choice. I personally love the instrumental and the verses/pre chorus but the actual chorus is a bi mr of a disappointment to me.
But the song is definitely not boring lol
