Doubt they would scrap a whole song that was meant to be a single (unless the whole direction of the album changed). I feel like they would at least have kept it on the album if it was meant to be a single. Furthermore, they clearly still have all the outtakes from the Make Me photoshoot, so it wouldn't be hard for them to whip up a new cover in like 10 minutes (like they did for Mood Ring).
