Mojo music uploads the top ten billboard record setters

The top ten Billboard record setters. 

 

Ranging from Carole King, Adele, Beyonce, Michael Jackson to Elton John who in 1975 became the first artist to debut at #1 on the Billboard 200, when at a time albums had to climb to claim #1. 

 

They basically disqualified BTS because of the multiple formats they sell to top the charts and the fact they release more than one album a year. 

 

They did include Elton, though they said he released two albums that year. But the fact is still there, he's the first artist to debut at #1, so a record is Still a record. 

 

Congrats to the king of pop 38 years later, no other solo artist has remained close to 40 weeks on top of the Billboard 200.

If only BLACKOUT debuted at #1. Britney would be there with the record "First and Only Female Artist to Have Her First 7 Studio Albums Debut At #1"

Britney didn't set a billboard 200 Record, by the time they made this video Adele broke the only billboard 200 Record she had left.

Mariah didn't make the list?  The solo artist with the most #1 hits, the only artist with a #1 hit on the hot 100 in 4 different decades, has had the #1 song on the holiday charts for like 20 years
