Adele receives backlash for Africa SNL skit

Adele is getting some hate for her Africa skit on SNL. 

In it, she fantasizes over Africa, but does so through provocative innuendo. For example, her and her co-star thirst over black men. There's even a silhouette of a giant leaning palm tree in the background to symbolize, well...

I can understand where the outrage comes from, but I also think the Internet is ready to drag her in a split second. Exhale, do you find the timing of this skit inappropriate considering what's going on in Africa?

I wonder if the people dragging adele realize that she didn't do this skit all by herself? Some creative team thought this was good comedy and put a lot of this together.

Twitter is the most popular social media site with Generation Z, the least popular is Facebook, and several reports say it's because their parents know how to work Facebook, and they don't want to associate with them on social media cos they know they would be upset with the lifestyle and choices they want to do.

Let me guess, the heat is coming from Twitter? Twitter is the dumpster of the internet. I haven’t watched the skit yet, but I doubt that it’s offensive. If anything, it sounds like it’s making fun of white women who fetishize black men. It’s satire ppl, pointing out things through comedy. Also the tweets you posted are from 2 white ppl from what I can tell, and one women who’s headline is “Kamalas flat iron” which I’m guessing means she has an issue with Kamaka Harris flat ironing her hair. Twitter just seems like it’s full of extreme leftists and rightists. I swear people are getting dumber. We’re seriously losing intelligence and people either want to act so woke it makes no sense anymore and life is enjoyable, or they’re racist and have no compassion for other ppl. Everyone is quick to cancel anyone these days and I blame social media for that.
