Ugh. If he could just give up control and realize there's nothing wrong with letting professionals take care of her estate and person then this could all be avoided. The only reason money is an issue right now is because he keeps contesting Britney in court. Her family needs to give up on the terrible idea that Britney's career is somehow a family business. :mattafact_alligator_telling_talking_chatting_preaching_green:

She was worth over 50 million in 2007...

She earned 64 and 58 million in 2010 and 2012 alone according to Forbes. How the hell that after 12 years where Britney worked quite a lot during 10 years, her net worth keeps decreasing? Its not like Britney lives like a Kardashian as well.

2009 #13 $35 million
2010 #6 64 million
2012 #6 58 million
2013 she wasnt on the list, but that was what Forbes wrote about her in mid 2013:
We estimate that Spears brought in $24 million over the past 12 months. A lot of that came from her one-season hosting stint on The X-Factor, but it wasn’t enough for her to compete with power pop stars like Rihanna and Justin Bieber.

2015: #82 31 million
2016 #99 $30,500,000 million
2017 #89 34 million

This though! As I understand there has always be around the same amount of money give or take a few million in the conservatorship. But what about money outside it?! There must be vast amounts somewhere. This needs to be accounted for as part of the trial. Where is Britney's money?

She has a trust for her kids that JL manages since 2018. But who knows If the majority of her money is there. People found out that she had many companies on her name before but Jamie ended those companies and started some on his own name, so many dont doubt that there is smt shady about that and her networth combined. Its a fact that by 2002 she already had over 100 million dollars.

:jl_jamie_lynn_awkward_cringe_eek: Her net worth makes absolutely no sense. Her album and single sales alone has made way over 1 billion $ in profit. If you combine this with merchandise, tours, sponsorship deals, music licensing, and her side business like the (probably flopped) lingerie line and very successful perfume deal, she could easily beat artists like Katy Perry ($330 million) Lady Gaga ($320 million) and Ed Sheeran ($200 million).

I feel like there's something really shady going on behind the scenes. Tax evasion? Money laundering? Really bad budgeting? Worst deals in the music industry?

Either way, we know who handles her finances, so...

What proof do we have of that? A Google estimate?

Fans are completely wrong about missing money IMO.

Early c ship documents show that she was almost bankrupt in 2007. Hence why Andrew Wallet said in his statement for a raise that she had 'almost exhuasted' her finances. All her homes were mortgaged which showed she couldn't buy them outright.

Michael Jackson's Google est worth is hundreds of millions but he was actually hundreds of millions in debt, and forced to go on the 'this is it' tour for money reasons. Sound familiar?

All proof shows she was in bad finances at the start of the c ship.

Ehh people have to break it to you but she does not get the dough. Look at it from a business standpoint. Vegas 25 mil ( not accurate just example) pays all workers, pays staff, pays production, pays this pays that, then maybe takes  home 10 mil. Then she has lawyer fees, child custody, mortgage. Artist are rich but they are a product and have a lot of royalties to pay b4 they see the dough. Look at the boyband like n'sync. They took in nothing and they sold out some large *** concerts. Still they rich as **** but they dont make as much as you would expect.

But there was this trust that was created in 2004 to prevent that from happening. It should be impossible to get the money. Britney's rights to her music, credits, etc. have never been evaluated. They are therefore not part of the finances during the guardianship. I also hope that there is still money somewhere. Perhaps their wealth was downgraded because of taxes. After all, rich people hide their real wealth in order to save taxes

Curious but what trust was that? Maybe she does and it's locked away.

As for rights to her music, she isn't the main writer or producer of the majority of them so it's highly unlikely she owns all of her catalogue. I'd say max Martin, danja etc own most the intellectual rights with the label.

Britney, nsync, BB etc were all signed at this era where the labels kept a huge percentage of the proceeds. Lou Pearlman was on the forefront of this con. These days artists make about 1/10th of a release profits for themselves. There's so little money in anything but touring, they also have to split profits of merchandise with their label.

I'm sure we will see soon during the next few proceedings.

Britney's fortune came about when the CD hit the market. There was no banking crisis back then. Her fortune should rather have multiplied. There was more interest on money than she could ever spend.
Today is as they write it.
