VCTR
First of all, that’s an interesting number because the Record Store Day website says it’s limited to 4,600 in the United States. Second of all, that doesn’t actually mean they sold 8k to actual people. It means they sold 8k to record stores and the record store MAY have sold it. I asked my friends that own a record store and participate in RSD and they do not report their sales to anyone and they cannot return unsold RSD records. They’re stuck with them. 6 1 Link to comment

Roxxy
HOORAY! Also, I wanna know how many copies did Glory sell during the #JusticeForGlory campaign last May (you know, when we hit #1 on the iTunes 'Pop' chart and #4 on the overall chart) cause we didn't chart on the Billboard 200 despite pure sales + a few streams while this vinyl only had pure sales to back it up and hello #136. I'm very impressed. 1 2 Link to comment

Their stores must be full of Bionic and Lotus albums then. 1 13 Link to comment

There were two variants of the vinyl, I wonder if the other opaque baby blue was included in the 4600 or not? 2 Link to comment
PokemonSpears
It's not a 20 year old album though. The tracks are 20 years old, but the compilation itself is new. 1 1 Link to comment

I think she means that it’s iconic that the same work from 2000 is doing so well 1 Link to comment

juniorcasemiro
This report is so weird... Record Store Day claimed it was 4.600 copies worldwide. Then apparently changed to 4.600 in the US and 4.000 in the UK. How come she sold 8k in the US if the other 4k was manufactured and sold elsewhere? Anyway, queen of vinyl though, I'm so proud 1 1 Link to comment

Do you have a source for the 4000 copies in the UK? I do know that people have alleged that some U.S. stores got the Europe version. Link to comment

I guess that’s officially true. Neat. On second thought, I mean, i guess it’s not a big deal. Mandy Moore can say that, too. Edit: wait! No she cant! There was an eleven year gap between Amanda Leigh and Silver Landings! Link to comment
