Hmm,  but the way I see it is tongue in cheek.

I guess since those songs incline to more of the hip hop side they needed to have more attitude but I don't feel like she was being literal, I guess ?

I personally don't really like her newer music; all her stuff up until 4 was amazing, but I haven't liked her music ever since self-titled (except XO).
