The new PS5 drops on November 12th for $499.99

Sony announced the new PS5 will launch on November 12th for $499.99.

There's also a $399.99 Digital Edition. 

They're competing against Microsoft's entry-level Xbox Series S at $299 and its flagship Xbox Series X for $499 on November 10th. 

most PS4 games will work on the PS5.

I currently have the PS4, and the only game I'm looking forward, Crash Bandicoot 4 is coming to the PS4, so I'm not planning on buying the PS5 yet.

When there's games that I'm interested in, I'll think about it.

Looks like they're following Apple's footsteps with increasing the price of their devices as they know the geeks will buy them anyway. In saying that last xmas I sold my PS4 and got a Switch. I will defenitely get a PS5 but next year, once the price comes down a little and the games library is a bit juicier.

Geez the Final Fantasy series is so lost though...

They really haven't had a great game since X, XIII was a step in the right direction but it's still not that great compared to the masterpieces that were VI through X.
