Britney is "very engaged" with the conservatorship, family is "at war": report

The pressure from the #FreeBritney movement due to the conservatorship Britney Spears is in has caused a strain in the Spears family.

“Britney’s family is at war with each other and it’s all because of the conservatorship,” a source tells Us Weekly.

“Britney is remarkably resilient and is very engaged in the conservatorship, whereas in years prior, she wasn’t at all,” the source tells Us. “She would never ask questions about it or go to court.”

They add that Lynne, who is on Britney's side, and in direct opposition of her ex-husband Jamie, “wants a care plan established that would transition Britney’s personal life out of the conservatorship."

"Jamie has told her that Britney needs long-term monitoring, and he doesn’t think she is prepared to take such a drastic action,” the source explains. “With the conservatorship being extended until the beginning of 2021, Jamie was relieved because all he wants is to keep Britney safe and at her best.”

However, Britney wants her dad out of the picture. She wants more transparency and feels Jamie's attempts to keep everything a secret is a detriment to her.

“Britney wants to live her life on her terms and is very displeased with the current custody arrangement,” the source tells Us. “She needs to see the boys much more than she currently is.”

Damn. I have a horrible feeling they'll pay Kevin for more time with the boys for Britney and then she'll drop everything and continue the c-ship. Classic bargaining. You ask for the most - freedom - but settle for far less - more hours with the boys.

I wish Britney realize she's in an abusive situation, that would be better than any other motivation.

I want to believe this family suffers, that's what they deserve.

I still think they're putting Jamie as the only "villain" and others like Lynne and Bryan in a better light.

This way she can finally be taught and given the tools to slowly regaining her life back and becoming more independent again

One thing that does infuriate me about the reporting by the media, they NEVER mention the altercation between Britney's father and her son, and the fact that both children have a restraining order against him.

I mean FFS the man has issues, look at the bigger picture, report the facts and its then clear to see why Britney doesn't want him in her life.

thing is, the restraining order against Jamie is for three years, as long as he's close to Britney, the custody time won't increase

So based on this article the only person that actually wants to see Britney out of the conservatorship is Lynne... It's so sad that not even her father and her siblings genuinely care about her well being and see her as a "family business"

Does anyone know how american law works regarding their will to see their mother more often? Is there any age limitation and do you think that they will do so if she's not able to change the custody time herself?

It's really frustrating. Bryan seems so distanced from the whole thing, whereas Juno Lou has teamed with that devious witch. Like how on earth you don't give a damn about the wellness of your sibling who loves you unconditionally and has given you everything you have. Ungrateful tools.

Also that she was in a mental health facility against her will... Always put it like she choose to go to that cheap unhealthy place
