Folklore makes Taylor Swift the first female since Alanis Morissette, to have the longest running alternative Album for a female act.

Congrats queen of not being confined to one genre, FYI Billboard thinks This Album might make Grammy history for Taylor, Billboard thinks Folklore might win Album of the year and Make Taylor Swift the first female in history to win it three times. 

 

If she does. She's up there with Stevie wonder and Frank Sinatra as they are the only ones to win Album of the year three times. Billboard also state's the pandemic was Taylor's saving Grace, by releasing an album like Folklore, she made sure to be the front-runner while everybody else delayed until they could tour. 

 

She might have helped herself in a guarantee win for sure.

I love Taylor so much. I genuinely stan her as my number one. However, I agree with Billboard in that, I doubt this album would've done as well if not for the pandemic. She definitely could've secured #1 for a week with the surprise release and everything, but she probably wouldn't have been able to keep it as long as she has. I AM hoping for her to win album of the year for this one though! I think she deserves it. This album shows so much talent as a songwriter and artist. Who else has #1 albums in three different genres that are all critically acclaimed?!

Well, good for her! She one of the biggest artists so any success is well deserved. I am happy for her!
