If and when we get new music

I think if and when Britney decides to release music and is actually passionate about it (in the nearer future) for her to rebrand her image but stay true to herself yet current, she should release an updated Blackout sound. Yes I know this is overrated but let me explain why. The current music scene is a little all over the place but urban and dance are still very relevant. Blackout is literally urban and dance. Lyrics matter more than ever these days and a personal banger like POM lyrically would smash. Maybe like a newer version of Freedom. I think the lead also needs a collaboration with a female rapper. Preferably Cardi B so that this younger generation can join the B Army. Imagine a new Gimme More with Cardi B on it? It would absolutely slay.

I guess How You Like That is a little Blackoutish. That’s the only song I genuinely love by them.

I agreed with everything besides cardi b. Or rapper feature for lead single.i don’t mind her on other singles but not lead. I don’t think she needs to appeal to younger artist Bc it looks thirsty and desperate. If she appeals to them cool great but not to go out of her way.. would seem forced like her dancing to migos ima slave 4 mix on pom.. ..She’s Britney Spears she doesn’t care to or need to sell big numbers anymore her time is done with all that. She’s n Icon. Her look could use a clean up but not rebrand her.. her brand is 20yrs old n still sells n 2016 was a perfect example she was polished n giving the same **** vibe but sultry n more grown and it worked on red carpets n looks etc..I do agree with a better version of blk out with more personal n personable lyrics and more about her personal life that she never really blatantly talks about which she needs to Bc it’s artistically stunting her growth.

Everyone’s so thirsty for a Blackout 2.0 but let’s be real everyone would slate it if she tried to do it again because people would say it won’t match up to the original Blackout.

Britney did that sound back in 2007. She started a trend and working with Danja to create a pop masterpiece. She’s moved on in her life now I don’t think she’s release that kind of music now she’s almost 40 (and that’s not me age shaming).

As for having Cardi B on the record - Britney doesn’t need Cardi B to make her relevant. She’d be turning into Madonna if she started to latch on to who was current at the time. She’s already sort of did it with G-Eazy, Iggy Azelia, Rihanna, Nicki Minaj. Honestly what would impress me more is if Britney came back with her own sound and she gave us a killer album! No features - just her solid writing and sound. She’d smash and show everyone why she’s Britney Spears

Please let’s stop with the rapper’s collabs unless it’s Eminem or Jay Z. I only want her collabing with people on her level (Xtina, JT, Gaga, Shakira) or above (Madonna).

I Feel Like Madonna (As Much As I Love Her) Is A Little “Been There, Done That”.  So Another Collab Wouldn’t Be Necessary Unless Both Parties Were To Really Give Their All.
Xtina Will Never Happen, I Honestly Don’t Think Britney Likes Her.  JT Is A No Go, Maybe In 2005, But Now?  No.  Gaga?  Yes, But Just Like With Madge, Both Would Have To Bring It. Shakira, Hmmm.... I Just Don’t Know How There Sounds Could Fit.

Sounds too desperate to me plus it's always a bad idea to try to replicate something already done. Britney doesn't need anyone; she clearly doesn't care about sales/charts anymore, she's a freaking legend already. Let her do what she wants for once, and if she wants to retire i'm ok with it.

A Madonna collab is ALWAYS welcome. But in real life I know she probably won’t do a song with any of those artists but with a flop RCA artist aka tinashe.

I hope she doesn't release anything else. The industry has destroyed her. I hope she gets free, takes her money and goes traveling the world living her best life painting. She's given us enough. Shes nearly 40 I don't want to see her trying to be urban and trendy like Madonna. I want her to leave the industry on her own terms with her head held high which never happens, you only ever see tragedys of what the industry does, if she continues to record once she's free she'll be surrounded by negative and controlling influences just like now but different.

I don't think b10 is ever coming. Her kids have said as much. Also I don't want her trying really hard and the failing. What britney does doesn't chart or hit anymore, all popstars are struggling for relevancy in the streaming era I just can't see it not flopping and not hurting her.

If she does... I hope it's on her terms and no a fourty year old from kentwood louisiana shouldn't go the hip hop route it's sad and desperate black out etc was a mood but isn't 25 anymore, she should do the Sheryl Crow, Shania Twain  stuff she always wanted to do.

I mean I respect your opinion first and foremost however I strongly disagree. I think even though Britney’s game has destroyed her, she won’t ever be at that level again which allows her to focus on the part of her job that she always loved. Her passion. Creating fun music and performing it. Britney is fun, she isn’t full of depth and that’s just who she is. She still delivers a great songs with integrity from her inner soul here and there but I genuinely believe with the fame aspect put aside she loves her job. She most likely gets way more creative freedom at this point and it really shined on her last album. She’s also contractually obligated and after all these conservatorship fees I highly doubt she’d try and break that. I personally feel like no matter who anyone decides to collab with, they just need passion and chemistry. Ala Rain on Me. Someone like Cardi would only help her generate more sales on top of making a simple and quirky fun pop gem. I don’t see it as desperate as Britney is pop royalty and technically mid career in comparison to her peers MJ and Madge. Now this is only if she wants as I stated but if that’s the case then why not? A modern Blackout (basically a heavy sound ahead of its time) in 2020 with deeper lyrical content and a female rapper (Cardi because she’s care free like Brit) would do well in my opinion. Again I feel I need to emphasize on the main point...IF AND WHEN.
