I prefer this version.

I still can't believe they released that song with a glitch in it.  But then again they released the whole Femme Fatale album in low quality (try blasting it in your car, you can hear how low quality it is compared to all her other albums), so nothing really surprises me anymore lol.

Although it just shows how unfinished this song is. She literally recorded it in small bits, not even in one, whole take.

I'm sure if Britney had some control over this, there would be no need to make custom versions of this song.

Why does her vibrato sound so beautiful in the chorus? I’m curious, did you tweak that, OP? I’ve never heard her vibrato sound like that before...

There are some timing issues and the vocal is kinda dry. Decent attempt though.

I made one a couple of years ago. I have some professional studio/production experience though.

But tbh, as much potential as this song has, Its simply Just not Britney’s best vocal. I wish, under different circumstances, she could have properly recorded this song. She’s so much better than this.

I'm not a fan of the vibrato. It's obviously tweaked in the studio, it's that fast vibrato MJ, Miley Cyrus and The Weeknd has. Brit Brit never had vibrato like that. As much as I like this song, she just obviously didn't put in the work to make it vocally good. 

I'm not shading on the OP's edit cuz it sounds good from the original, but I wish Britney wasn't forced to make the BJ album. It's beyond phoned in. Only "Perfume" sounds vocally decent.
