This Day in Pop: Britney releases the Till the World Ends (Twister Remix) commercial in 2012 (September 8)

On September 8, 2012, the Till the World Ends (Twister Remix) video/ad was premiered at rockthespots.com

 

The commercial was done in order to promote Hasbro's new variation of the classic game Twister, Twister Dance, which featured a remix of Britney's Till the World Ends.

 

The video was directed by Ray Kay, who also directed the official music video of the song in 2011.

 

On September 18, the full remix was uploaded to Britney's YouTube channel

 

In September 2013, a new version of the game was released, Twister Dance Rave.

This game included the Circus (Twister Rave Remix). No new commercial was shot, but instead they recycled some of the footage from the previous year.

Well, though technically she was still in the FF era music wise (since Scream & Shout hadn't come out yet) people tend to catalog 2012 as "The X Factor era" and not necessarily part of Femme Fatale era.

But yes, she looked great.

I loooved this commercial.  She looked so good here!

Sidenote: Am I the only one who hates the FF album cover?  Seeing it on the cover of the twister box made me cringe.  It's not as bad as the original Glory cover, but it's pretty bad.  And it's not that Britney looks bad (mom looks great always), but the photo, the angle, the top aren't flattering. In my opinion.
