While writing her screenplay, Madonna is looking back at all areas of her career, including a book that almost ended her career. 28 years later after that Book, Madonna questions society whether they have accepted woman's rights to express themselves. Given the mixed reception of WAP, The Answer is no.

I believe Human Nature came out after this Era but it addressed a lot of the backlash she experienced during Erotica. Human Nature also helped me get through a really hard & dark time in my life. Long live the Queen of Pop

The book actually came out a year before I was born but I know alot about it based on youtube vids.

I wouldn't say it was a horrible book but it was a bit much and still is.

Although I will say I have YET to see any modern female popstars as ballsy as she was and I dont think we ever will
