Lady Gaga's array of iconic face masks at the VMAs (9 different masks to be precise) inspired people to step out of their comfort zones in search of bolder face masks. 

Gaga said at the VMAs, "I might sound like a broken record but wear a mask. It's a sign of respect."

According to a new report from Lyst, searches for face masks that include the terms “bold” and “colorful” spiked 43%, compared to the previous week.
