Doja Cat gives us a heads up that she's going to surprise-release her new album

Doja Cat put on one of the best performances of the night at the VMAs on Sunday.

Before she took the stage, Doja had an interview with MTV. She opened up about her new album, which she says contains dancehall, afrobeat, funk, and house songs.

She also says she wants to surprise release it, which... kind of defeats the purpose if you give us a heads up but go off sis. 

I know the Internet has labeled her a racist, but I am still curious to hear the new tunes. Thoughts, Exhale?

I like Doja. She’s pretty awesome.   And she is totally killing right now. Like, she brings great flavor to the scene, her outfits slay, great videos and she dances. I literally can’t ask for more from today’s pop ladies. Regardless of what you may think about her, I think Doja is the one to beat.
