In a just released interview, Grammy award winning R&B legend Toni Braxton, regrets now at 52, Not being loose in her younger years. She deeply regrets not having casual hook ups, drinking or smoking more. 

 

Part of it was her strict religious upbringing, she wasn't even allowed to listen to secular music growing up as a kid. 

 

Also she felt cursed cos of her solo çareer since she was supposed to be in a band with her sister's, But LaFace and Arista only saw Toni as the only one with talent. That also haunts her to this day..

 

Even she blames her ******** at 30 in 98, which she described in her Memoir, a selfish career move, that came back ato haunt as her son Diezel ended up diagnosed with Autism, plus the bankruptcies, and the breast augmentation on her body. Very sad, as she feels that all of those things are a result of breaking the family group up..

 

But she still regrets some things, I think the entire Braxton family is realizing the errors of raising the kids in a very strict, Sheltered environment, Even Mama Braxton herself admits, that raising the kids like it was during my childhood days didn't do no one good. Plus raising the kids off the Bible pretty much probably set them down the most depressing path ever for any human being. Toni was doing stuff a teen does in her 40s. That's when I realized the error of our ways. We should have been more leinant and open minded instead of closed minded..

 

Tamar Braxton is also now dealing with the consequences of that controversial upbringing.
