Little Mix has been the top girl group except for the US. Selling close to 55 Million worldwide and sold out tours.

 

But The lack of US success is attributed to many things.

 

First Fifth harmony was preferred.

 

Second they refused to flirt with Radio programmers and DJs to get their music played. 

 

 

Jade, has admitted that after they refused Columbia didn't market them or anything. Just quietly released the Music since they signed a distribution deal with Syco. 

 

But Jade said, were signed To RCA UK. And since Fifth harmony are no more. It's a great chance to break in we're still young anyway.

Little Mix members are older than Fifth harmony..

 

Jesy and Leigh Anne are both born in 91, Jade 92, and Perrie in 93. 

 

All were adults when Fifth harmony debuted as most members were not even 18 when the girl group formed.

It is a pity that these things have happened a few years ago  and how sexism predominates in the industry  loading more workload on women, because a man can walk lazily singing a song and that's fine, but a woman has to dance, sing, act and have the body of an athlete to earn respect. Sad and unfair
