It honestly wouldn't have fit the fake voice, I would have preferred if she released Guilty as a response to Cry Me a River. Justin would have probably released another song though that would tear Britney's media support apart. :goat:

I've stated multiple times though that Britney should have covered this on the Onyx Hotel Tour in similar fashion to You Oughta Know on the Circus tour. :goat:

I like that :bop:

Her real voice would fit the song (She's recorded a Toni Braxton outtake before) even if it isn't as deep as Toni's, it would likely be more comfortable than those high notes in Cry Me a River.

I love how Britney has a deeper voice than Justin. :haha:

:gaspney: lmaoooo you're right.

She has actually has hit way lower notes than him, and a lot of male singers who are Tenors. :quirkney:

She's no Cher but it's a shame her lower register was never really explored much in her discography. :icant2:

He'd probably make a comeback song that was even more shady than Cry Me a River :orangu:

It probably would have been harder for him to win over the public, though, since she would’ve set the narrative :bedtime:

I totally agree...they tried to fit her in specific box so bad instead of letting her shine in all her unique qualities. Maybe one day..:kidcries:

She probably would have been torn apart as a spiteful vindictive woman out to hurt him more. Because women are often criticized for singing/writing about their exes. Take Taylor Swift for example.

...do you think the media and public would’ve been more on her side? Would it have changed anything, or would it have changed nothing at all?

It’s all marketing.. without it Justin wouldn’t get so much success.. Imo music industry wouldn’t allow him and her to do that

*sigh* Media and GP being the classic ****** beings they are to this day, wouldnt unlike Justin let Britney go like that, i mean after all if a woman according to them releases a song like a CMAR after a controversial public break-up, she is petty, cant move on and a dumb blonde. :jtum: But of course, for why you were able to enjoy Justin perform and win the grammys with that song, without having the same feelings from him, eh? :tired:
