Britney and Ariana Hybrid

So today I just found out about Madison Beer. I watch Honest on YouTube and that’s how I discovered her. He talks pop music and culture so look him up. Anyways this song is CRACK. Britney related because honestly the pigtails and the name...Baby. The sensual almost baby vocals. She’s a hybrid of Brit and Ariana Grande. Ariana is more prominent but I sense a lot of Brit. The structure of the song is classic pop. Take a listen and even though she’s a bunch of stuff we’ve all seen a million times this is just the “It” sound. It’s very 2000s. Had to share.

A couple of thoughts: She’s like the Jessica Simpson/Mandy Moore, etc. clone version to Ariana (didn’t know she had clones like Britney did) && is that a kinda heavy lisp I heard?

Yay I’m glad you liked! Its honestly soooo good. Pop/RnB at its finest. It’s like she did Ari but better lol. This song is literally the definition of a bop. Where do you hear a lisp?!

Various spots, I first heavily noticed it around the 0:45 mark when she says “take for this”. Maybe it’s the way the song is edited.

I just listened and I hear what your hear. I don’t think she has a lisp though. I think it’s just that easy breezy way that Ari sings often where you can’t always here her properly pronunciate the actual words lol.

Very cute song. Sounds like a TYN demo. Outake/ reject. I just don’t like the hyper ****** image she’s trynna portray in this video when she looks crazy young despite not being young. It just looks wayyyyy too forced and very instagram/typical. Wish she was dancing or idk just not relying on trying to look “****” ..and just have her natural talent shine through.

I felt the same way but the video does have some good editing moments that amplify the song. It’s a great pop track!

When it started it reminded me something from meghan trainors songs.. maybe that one who some of fans thought similar to overprotected idk..

I don't see any similarities to Brit and I don't liked the song.. maybe it can be fun when you are on high and ***ing cause it was kind of never ending song (I turned it off near the end).. Like you are in the loop or smth.. totally suits the only situation : ))
