Britney Spears’ desire to expand her family is the driving force behind efforts to remove her father from her conservatorship.

A close friend told The Sun: “Britney wants to have a bigger family and currently her set-up is not aligned for that in the way she wants.”

“She always hoped to have a brood of kids and she wants to get in a place to independently start a new family.”

“That goal for Britney is one of the driving factors in her efforts to change the set-up of the conservatorship. She wants more independence over her life decisions.”

Sources say that Jamie wants his daughter to continue with her music and career, while she wants time away from the limelight.

Pals claim that Britney would “love to have a couple of babies running around again” now that her sons Sean Preston and Jayden James are teenagers.”

The source added: “Jamie and his daughter have endured times in their lives where they butted heads over different things.”

Father Jamie banks close to $130,000 per year plus expenses to care for his daughter and oversee her $55 million dollar fortune.

If this is true, my heart breaks for her. I am sure Jamie still wants her to continue her music and career, more money for him. Britney seems like a great mom, I hope she is able to have more children.

.........in other words Jamie just wants her to make more money 

the only thing i dont get is whats stopping her getting pregnant anyway. what exactly can they do about it?

Two things:

One: I do believe that was the reason Britney went to the hearing with Lynne. B probably doesn't care about the ending of the cship (does she realize she's been abused?), but dreams about having that family she always mentioned on interviews. If she gets the permission I'm not sure she wants anything else. She should have the right to get pregnant obviously but...

Two: Britney interested in freedom only to have more babies maybe shows to the judge she isn't mature enough to understand the situation she is in. Britney is basically a kid asking to have kids, instead of asking to finish the c-ship to get back Jayden and Sean, proving being capable to own herself.

I don't want to judge in this level because I truly don't know what's Britney thinking, but If she's only obsessed about having the big family and living like in a fairytale... She'll be constantly disappointed.

That Britney is aware she's suffered abuse is a way clearer fact than if she wants more kids. :jl:

Every time she poses with a book on IG, or talks about a movie/book, the book/movie is about abuse :clownery:

I hope she goes the in vitro route! We already know she suffers from self-esteem issues. And its best for her to avoid another post-partum depression. I also have the feeling Sam would be the kind of guy to lose attraction to her once she gains weight since he's all about physical appearance.

it doesnt mean that at all. Britney will always be a household name and everyone knows who she is. BJ flopped in 2013 and then she released Glory FIVE years after her last successful album and Glory was successful because it was good music

Also, and ive just thought about this. if/when Britney returns to music , shes gunna have to reinvent herself anyway because she turns 40 in December 2021 and all her fans will be at least in their 30s and 40s [i turn 30 next April] so her music will probably have a complete overhaul anyway. so this long break might distance herself from the young poppy singing about slumber parties girl and move her into more serious grown up music

She has been saying that since 2008, she said on FTR, to Mario Lopez, to James Corden and on other interviews. The only time she said she was satisfied with only Preston and Jayden was when she was dating Charlie and was the people magazine cover story.

I believe this could be true and it’s not a bad thing at all. Being able to decide when to have kids is a huge motivation for someone to gain their freedom back, and it would make sense to the judge as well, since this is a fundamental right for all people.

I hope you're right, for real.

The books and movies she mentioned recently really talk about certain themes related to abuse and/or freedom, I agree... 

Hopefully Britney understands her situation is unique in a bad way.

Can someone answer me smt? How can they (Jamie and others) prevent her from getting pregnant? Did Sam have to sign smt he couldnt impregnate her or hed be sued? Could they make her abort since shes treated like a child and has no rights? Could Britney be threatned to not get pregnant? Like "if u get pregnant, ull stay in another mental facility for a couple of months". 

Britney has always talked about wanting to have more kids since 2008! And the fact her kids are teenagers now who live with their dad while shes isolated and alone... I believe she probably still wants more baby since she had to fight all these years for more time with Preston and Jayden. She lost their custody, could never fight for it again and probably is missing a lot from their teenage years, so it makes sense to me shed want more kids to try to raise them properly like she couldnt do to Preston and Jayden.
