I really hated Work *****

Now it's one of my favourite workout songs and the only song of Basic Jingles i frequently listen. :unbelievableney:

I agree 100% I had two issues with the song. I felt like Scream & Shout was almost like the closing anthem of the EDM era in pop and Work ***** sounded like the most bland EDM track of them all. I was also like Britney girl...***** again? It’s getting overrated. Gimme More, S&S, now WB? I also couldn’t distinguish the verses from the chorus because it doesn’t switch up enough. It’s hard hitting until the bridge which was and maybe is still my favorite part. Oddly enough I do get the song now but I think it’s because the overrated EDM era is over and I’ve grown to appreciate it more. I think for anyone the song is a grower. It might be the selling of the song with the choreo over the years but I’ve definitely grown too like it. I’ll never forget when it first came out. It got radio play every hour at the top of the hour and I wanted too like it more each time naturally like I normally do but I couldn’t. It bothered me. I was at lunch with my fiancé and showed him the album art and we both loved it. He hates the song till this day and BJ. He’s not a stan but bows down to Blackout. Thank God lol.

I totally agree, it's a grower. I was so disappointed when I first listen to it, because normally I love every Britney lead single, when I first listen to it. If it would be released from any other artist, i couldn't be bothered to listen to the full album. I honestly still think that it's Britney's worst lead single, but you couldn't ask for more when the accompanied album is as bad as BJ. :goat:

I would not say love, but I like them now:

How I Roll and Trouble For Me

And Heart,When Your Eyes Say It are ok for me now. When You don´t like current music then you appreciate more the old ones even when you did´t like them first. And I was surprised how good the Baby One More Time album is.I:yesplease: didn´t listen for a long time and there are so many pearls on it :

-I Will Be There

-E-Mail My Heart

-Deep In My Heart

-I´ll Never Stop Loving You

All single worthy to me.(along with Autumn Goodbye, but this is already on of my favorite Britney song for years now)

I hate to admit I ever disliked a Blackout song but I wasn't initially vibing with Heaven On Earth. Something about that synth sounded off to me and still does in the beginning of the song but throughout the song the instrumental redeems itself.

And I was a big hater of How I Roll but I've had a change of heart this year finally.

Also I disliked Pretty Girls when it came out for obvious reasons but then after a while I realized it was a fantastic piece of work. The cringier/sillier the better.

I don't think I've ever heard Heaven On Earth in full :orangu:

Pretty Girls is actually a bop though :gimmemoar:

For me it's:

  • Brave New Girl :bang:
  • Do Somethin
  • Hot As Ice
  • Womanizer
  • If You Seek Amy
  • Seal It With a Kiss
  • Lace and Leather
  • Hold It Against Me
  • It Should Be Easy
  • Mood Ring (the Ape Drums Remix made me like it)

Why didn’t you like Mood Ring? :ohdear:
