What is the creepiest thing you've ever seen in this fanbase?

There's so many shady/creepy things going on from Team Con, obviously. But within the fandom there's some weird **** as well. Like that one dude who I guess allegedly knew her and would write cryptic tweets singing her lullabies to sleep? And then he passed away?

But I think over the years the creepiest/weirdest thing I've seen is this website that I think no longer exists called "Britneys Babies". It was Britneybabies.com and it was literally a website with nothing but pictures of Jayden and SP. That website never sat well with me. Always seemed creepy af. I think it was a lady running it. Do any of y'all know what I am talking about? Apart from the overall general creepiness I also felt like damn, what a way to violate any boundaries between fans and their idol. If I were Britney I would have been more creeped out about this than a crazy lady sending me pink hats. But I think that website also sometimes had exclusives? I don't know.

Second creepiest thing I guess would be the fans who would go to the M&G every week (WHERE were they getting the money?), MARTAGATE, and that one dude who got humiliated on the X factor. Britney for some reason brings out the weirdos. :umok: Jason Alexander showing up to her rally, people still chatting up/stanning Sam Lutfi as if he didn't **** and psychologically abuse her (according to Lynne.) Does any other fandom bring out the weirdos like the B-army?

What's the creepiest thing that you've witnessed in this fandom?

Disclaimer: Don't downvote me. Apart from a few weirdos this is probably the most physically attractive fanbase out of all of them. Feel free to slide into my DMs.real housewives of new jersey flirting GIF

Yeah the creepiest thing with the website is that this was like in 2010-2012? So they were toddlers. Just awful.

OMG what at the Glory CD? :orangu::gloriascary:

I mean granted that album is THAT good. Still not as bad as Gaga's fans sucking D and posting craigslist ads for #1's.

People hated britneysbabies, but in 2020 everybody is like "here are her kids? We never see them!!" .... Those are the creepy ones..

There's a stark difference between some random posting paparazzi pictures of a toddler on a website for years vs. Britney or her team choosing to share moments with her kids as part of her day to day on her instagram. People have noticed that they are no longer featured on her IG and it has raised some eyebrows. What that website was doing was completely different.

What some users say about Britney's kids are absolutely disgusting.

I think I saw some people fat shaming JJ and SP when they went to Disneyland and when JJ went on the live. I remember some people saying JJ wouldn't show his face because he was hiding something. Its sad that grown adults are criticizing children based on their looks. But especially to do that to your fav's kids. :crying1:

Politely, this thread gives me some negative vibes.

Maybe it’s just me. Nevertheless I do feel it.

Why add in that Britney has an “attractive” fan base as justification after the parts about such weirdness?

Downvote me.

🤷🏻‍♂️

Agreed.

Based off what Jayden says I don't think he doesn't care about his mom. Almost all of the guys around that age in my school talk like that to look "cool", I'm surprised some of the fandom didn't catch on the fact that this that this was a 14 year old boy saying typical 14 year old boy things and not a 14 year old Britney Spears fan talking to adult Britney Spears' fans.

I'll spare you from a downvote but honey any negative vibes you feel are coming from within, imo.

I added that last bit as a bit of fun. So as to not make it seem I was making out the whole fanbase to be weird. There is a lot of weird stuff in this fandom, just like I am sure there are in others. But since this is the only fanbase I participate in I wouldn't know about anybody elses. You know if you don't want to participate in a thread or a conversation you can just scroll, right? If anyone is bringing a weird tone in here its you.

God forbid I try to make conversation about things that aren't discussed as often.

I mean besides what I personally disagree with about JJ's behavior in that chat...I have to say I think you do raise a very good point. The fact that there were grown *** people in there goading him on to say something private about his mother or asking him weird questions does indeed rub me the wrong way. I feel like it was inappropriate. Granted, I watched the whole live once it was uploaded to see if I get any #FB tea so I guess I am part of the problem. But I would have never personally participated in that chat or tried to talk to him. I know there are people who have given him and his brother follows on IG. I personally can't imagine ever feeling inclined to follow a 14 year old. But that's just me.

I'm not trying to say his behaviour was right (the guys who talk like that usually annoy me a lot haha) but I wasn't necessarily surprised and I just think it'll be something he'll grow out of. I just find it weird how some adults are so deeply infatuated in her children and say such weird things about them. Like imagine being so pathetic you start fat-shaming your fave's child. :flop:

Yeah at the end of the day, while its sad she no longer posts pictures with them anymore on her personal IG, I think its for the best. I was never a Michael Jackson fan but I think one thing that I will say I admired about him was him trying to protect his children/hide them from the media. Like I love Mariah Carey for instance but her children are 9 and are on Tik Tok unsupervised. My kids won't even have a smart phone until they're 14. And it won't have a camera. :tina:

I love Mariah too but again, the way adults love finding their own personal social media seems kinda weird to me. Like why would you ever wanna go out of your way to find a kid's social media and then keep talking to them, it seems quite weird.

Oh yeah trust me, I agree. I think some people will do anything to feel connected to their fav. With their kids instagram they can even get a peek at their favs house in real time. The media doesn't help matters. ET, Wendy Williams, etc covered Jayden's instagram live story. And Mariah's kids on Tik Tok. There really should be an unspoken rule about media coverage on children and parental consent.
