Billie Eilish disabled Instagram comments after urging her fans to vote for Joe Biden and get Trump out of the White House

Billie Eilish has disabled her Instagram comments after appearing at the Democratic National Convention on Thursday.

"You don’t need me to tell you things are a mess. Donald Trump is destroying our country and everything we care about. We need leaders who will solve problems like climate change and COVID, not deny them," Eilish said.

"Leaders who will fight against systemic racism and inequality. And that starts by voting for someone who understands how much is at stake. Someone who’s building a team that shares our values. It starts with voting against Donald Trump and for Joe Biden. Silence is not an option, and we cannot sit this one out. We all have to vote like our lives and the world depend on it because they do. The only way to be certain of the future is to make it ourselves."

She added: "Please register, please vote."

I've learned several things:

  • Millennial conservatives are actually bigger numbers than the media paints it to be.
  • They are pro choice (not pro life), however they don't want to pay for the ******** with their 💰 to pay as taxes.
  • They say if you want an ********, cool just pay for it yourself.
  • They really aren't like the old republican party as they are portrayed, however most agree private medical insurance is much better than the Medicare for all, it's like social security, they work for the insurance. It shouldn't be free.
  • They just want limited government, meaning just do what we ask and that's it.
  • They feel the media has painted then to be evil and demonic and it's all a misunderstanding. Modern day conservatives are different than the Bible thumper ones. Most support same *** marriage and stuff like that.

Thoughts, Exhale?

It’s her opinion :mattafact:

Just like how you support trump, she supports Biden :mattafact:

She's a celebrity, I'm not. Also she's ******* young to know anything about politics and she's just parroting around what the media says, nothing more.

I loved the points about milenial conservatives because where I live I would say the majority of young people are republicans and they still support a lot of the liberal social issues. But want things like lower taxes and less government involvement.

If you were her, then you would too have given your political opinion too :mattafact:

The only difference between a normal human being and celebrity is the fame, status and wealth...not personal opinion:mattafact:

Plus, she is 18 years old, making her the legal age to vote, how is that young for you hunty, billie isnt a child:mattafact:

And if Trump wins again, i think it would not be surprising :mattafact:

All she is doing is giving her opinion, let her be :mattafact:

Why do most celebs do this thing where they express an opinion, but then disable the comments? It's cowardly; you're allowed to express your opinion, but people are also allowed to express theirs. Blocking people from doing that just stifles free speech.

She’s 18. That’s the main reason having her in the convention is all about. Showing all those 18 year old that they need to get involved in politics and inform themselves about their political options and ultimately their future. Across the globe is the same phenomena, all young voters are flagged as too young, and then they don't vote and begin the road of “this is not for me” and dissociate themselves from being an active part of the political process that affects them as well. It’s funny how society takes them as adults for some things, but too young for others.

Bravo for Billie.
