Slayer
This doesn't really sound like good news to me, this sounds like a way that he could be made co-conservator of her estate, so he could still be there but it'll appear he has less control... 2 Link to comment
PokemonSpears
yas Sam come through I mean this is great news, and I'm glad he's finally doing something good, but I can't forget how responsible he is for this whole situation and the way it's gotten extended to this point. He's clearly trying to save his *** at the last minute 1 Link to comment
Popular Post generation glory
“Britney's lawyer described the unique specifics of the pop star's conservatorship over the years, breaking it down into three 'distinct phases. PHASE 1: The first phase can be described broadly as "triage": her conservators rescued her from a collapse, exploitation by predatory individuals and financial ruin. PHASE 2: The second phase covered BRITNEY' s performing years: with the aid of a personal manager, a business manager, and many other individuals, BRITNEY was able to regain her position as a world-class entertainer with multiple world tours, a television series and a residency in Las Vegas. The Las Vegas residency ended December 31, 2017, and her last live tour performance occurred on October 21, 2018. PHASE 3: The third phase of the conservatorship reflects BRITNEY'S stated desire not to perform at this time We are now at a point where the conservatorship must be changed substantially in order to reflect the major changes in her current lifestyle and her stated wishes." • • • Seems like they are now doing what they should have done before things got soooo BAD— prepare Britney & her financial estate for when she retires. (Which she did Oct. 21, 2018. Once she dipped out of the Domination announcement, homegirl was DONE!! It takes million$ of dollars a year to maintain a conservatorship. And with Britney putting her foot down refusing to be their Vegas showgirl, the millions she has now can dry up fast mainly due to the legal fee and maintaining her lifestyle. Not to sound dramatic & IMO this is a good thing, which is that Britney Spears has effectively retired. I’m very happy she’s stopped performing because she has NOT appeared to have wanted to be a pop star since 2008. She’s been going through the motions. Good for you, Britney!! Do what your ❤️ wants to. You’ve given us more than enough. I’m grateful!! Thank you!! 😘😘 19 5 Link to comment

MadameFreedom
Just now, Jordan Miller said: Yes, this is the impression I'm under. It's a move to replace Jamie with Jodi. Not to get Britney out of it entirely. I think the lawyersforbritney post is a bit misleading. I think first move is to remove Jamie and to hire a lawyer. Then to remove conservatorship as a whole. Remember the story Lawyers for Britney posted about other conservatorship case where first conservatorship changed into limited conservatorship and then it was removed as a whole? I think they are taking baby steps into to file to terminate. 3 4 Link to comment
Haha-Hehe-Haha-Ho
I love the wording stating that Jamie is gonna fight to keep the cship in place no matter what, it implies that he has no regard for Brit's best interests. I would imagine this would raise some eyebrows with the court given that he's supposed to be looking out for her. It's high time our girl lawyers up! 7 Link to comment

Interesting that he points out that Britney herself has directly made these decisions with him and also that he expects Jamie to fight these changes strongly I don't understand why Jamie would want to fight these changes so much if he was purely working in Britney's best interests it seems clear hes scared to lose his salary from the conservatorship. Surely most father's would be happy for their daughter to choose a conservator that makes them happy and to have their money controlled by a proper corporation To make his point, Britney's lawyer described the unique specifics of the pop star's conservatorship over the years, breaking it down into three 'distinct phases.' "The first phase can be described broadly as "triage": her conservators rescued her from a collapse, exploitation by predatory individuals and financial ruin," he says. He continued, "The second phase covered BRITNEY' s performing years: with the aid of a personal manager, a business manager, and many other individuals, BRITNEY was able to regain her position as a world-class entertainer with multiple world tours, a television series and a residency in Las Vegas. The Las Vegas residency ended December 31, 2017, and her last live tour performance occurred on October 21, 2018." Lastly, Britney's lawyer says the third phase involves her "desire not to perform" at this point in her life, and the change that is needed in her conservatorship. "The third phase of the conservatorship reflects BRITNEY'S stated desire not to perform at this time We are now at a point where the conservatorship must be changed substantially in order to reflect the major changes in her current lifestyle and her stated wishes." In the end, Britney's lawyer is asking the court to implement the changes to her conservatorship, which he believes is also in her best interest. "Based on the foregoing, I respectfully recommend that this court seek input from all parties and make appropriate orders to facilitate the implementation of my client's wishes as stated above, which I also believe to be in her best interests," he states. Fenixxx123
Well you changed the title but it was actually right. They want to remove Jamie as the conservator and guess who will be in charge of Britney's state ...... of course Miss Lou Taylor and her corrupted company TriStar 2 Link to comment

Surely if she is being suppressed and basically held captive then she would file to terminate it and make plans with people she trusts to help her get her life back, not just change the people in control?! She may have all the mental conditions you can name, but if something is very obvious is that she IS capable of taking decisions to some extent, and that right should've been respected since the beginning, like for example, being able to choose who would be her conservator or which lawyer to hire to represent her. I hope the judge really evaluates this time what's best for her based on the results of the evaluation. Too bad the people involved in the conservatorship until now will probably never pay for their crime 1 Link to comment

Popular Post Liz88
To me, sounds like by removing Jamie it removes the links and outside influences such a Loucifer Taylor from having a say in the conservatorship. It is a 2 year process to terminate the c'ship - I think this is the catalyst of putting the wheels in motion to terminate. Get her estate and finances in order by an expert, UNBIASED bank (or something to that affect) first and then focus on Britney, the person. 18 Link to comment
