It's super cute. In it, Katy plays a "Smile" music video and transforms into one of the characters who gets entangled in all kinds of shenanigans.

My least favorite thing about Katy is how cheesy she is. All her videos and outfits are  a candy-coated carnival of nausea. the TGIF and Dark Horse vids were the worst. Smile seems to be the third installment... I was enjoying her NRO/Small Talk/Daisies sound.. so much more natural and relaxed.

I think now that she’s about to be a mom she wants to cater to her baby... like how awesome will it be once the baby is born and instead of watching , Barney , the baby can opt to watch its mommas videos for this era. I think it’s fun and cool. Now that’s she’s a mom she probably prefers to make fun and cute music videos. 
Clowns are also very relevant at the moment, so she is def staying in touch with fashion trends. IT the movie was a box office success, you have Ronald McDonald thriving, Harley Quinn and the Joker pop icons. So I applaud her and wish her all the success.
