I remember watching this, it was so bad  

And I'm pretty sure they couldn't get any rights to Britney's music so the only song you heard in the movie was I Love Rock n Roll, because that's a cover of someone else's song

Does anyone know if her team had to approve this movie  before publlication?

Was it released without thier consent? If she had a real team that cares about her opinion, they would never left something like that come out to a wider audience. If it was released without any authorization, then a normal team would take advantage for such a poor story of such a talented person as Britney was and still is.

It definitely didn't get their blessing hence no Britney music is in it and I remember it being reported they werent happy with it but I'm guessing they must have had to authorise it but I don't really know

But there promoting it unfortunately because of the Free Britney movement,  at the minute anything with the name Britney in it gains a lot of views which for LifeTime translates to alot of coin!

As much as i hate it, the marketer in me is like "Yep"

This movie was just SO bad in so many ways!

There should've been a high budget film about her that went to theaters.
