Britney Spears makeup artist Billy B talks #FreeBritney: "it's time to stand up and do what's right"

Billy, who worked with Britney during the live shows from X Factor, he also did her makeup for Scream and Shout videos (original and remix), spoke up about the #FreeBritney movement.

In a few comments on Instagram, Billy wrote: 

"Oh trust there is plenty of tea to be spilled but only to someone of authority that could possibly help," he wrote.

"Fans brining awareness is a start it's insiders that can finish. It's time to not care about being black balled in Hollywood or worrying about career, it's time to stand up and do what's right.... I know so many #brave #women who #stoodup @rosemcgowan and others that sacrificed a career to do what's right #metoomovement I've had my career and although it is terrifying to do what's right when there is so much to lose but, it's a risk worth taking."

He also posted the following caption:

He's basically saying he has proof and could testify against Britney's conservatorship, but only if an authority asks him to, like in court. He supports the #FreeBritney movement and the attention the fans are bringing to the situation, but he won't speak unless is under oath.

Honestly though I dont like when people claim they know stuff or have receipts but dont show them. Like you either have them or you dont, like why would he only speak on it in court? Hes not directly involved in her cship so he might as well show what he has now instead of posting for attention.

But tbh, what would be the point if no one is ordering an investigation? Like, he speaks up, so what? Who's gonna take his testimony as evidence of anything, if there isn't even a petition to terminate the conservatorship?

I think what he does is good, in the sense that he, as someone who was part of Britney's inner circle while he worked with her, more than once, is supporting the fans and the whole movement, just giving more evidence that it's not just simply conspiracy theories as a lot of people and the media try to make it seem. That can even make other people that have worked with her to do the same.

But of course he's not gonna risk his own freedom by getting sued from her team.

 

I like that post he makes about people being under control coming to a point where they believe that's the normal. That's a recurring point that always comes up on the conversations about the cship, that even if Britney said now that she's ok with it, it doesn't make it ok, because that's not how things work, that's not correct. Conservatorships are simply not meant for situations like Britney's

It depends what he has to say.

If he has criminal accusations to make, doing so outside of the "justice system" makes him a target for retaliation, doesn't get those accusations properly investigated and allows the criminals time to cover their tracks relating to those specific crimes, as well as threaten others who may have witnessed the same or similar events.

Unfortunately, it's probably too late for him to independently contact the police about what he saw. It may, also, be that his claims don't stand alone and need corroborating witnesses to be taken seriously.

What he did reveal, though, is that the Enemy In Question is much bigger than Jamie Spears, big enough to have makeup artists worried about being permanently black balled and, so, someone (or someones) on the level and with the reach of Harvey Weinstein, if not more powerful.

That's true in a sense that his word has more weight than some random fans because he knows Brit personally. 

And although it's cool he is helping to legitamize the movement what he says doesnt add much at all, we still dont know what is going on and what exactly is wrong. So in a way his post is frustrating because we fans are still as clueless as ever.

The whole situation depresses me tbh

there would have to be a direct accusation ordering the investigation of the conservatorship, or whatever situation he's implying (in case he's talking about a specific crime besides the cship just being abusive)
