I Think The First Vocal Is Actully Cathy Dennis. But Its Not Britney. So Maybe People Doing Singing For Britney Started Earlier Than Britney Jean?

Can we stop being obsessed with Myah Marie and stop looking for other songs to ruin thinking she might be singing on it too. This mindset needs to stop. This has been discussed in the past. Myah only does background vocals.

I disagree. There are songs on Femme Fatale and Circus that to me are not Britney doing lead at all. Trouble for Me, for instance, is not a Britney track. Her father came out in an interview and said that Myah did half of the lead vocals for FF...sorry to break the bubble of sensitive Britney starts but its true. 

I have my suspicions about a couple of Circus tracks, but the issue is not as prominent as FF and then at its peak horrible in BJ. I actually welcome this discussion, as I think it is a huge stain on Britney's discography.

HmmT. Sorry hon but Myah will always be a plague that haunts 2-3 of Britney's albums. I think her prominence warrants discussion on a Britney discussion forum. Why should we not talk about it? Nobody (except her producers maybe?) are saying Britney can't sing.

We have four different "Background vocals" attached to Trouble For Me.

Backing Vocals – Ashton Foster, Heather Bright, Livvi Franc, Myah Marie

Same with:

and Drop Dead Beautiful:

Which is why, even if Britney is singing "lead" on these tracks, she sounds virtually unrecognizable.

This is the case with most of Femme Fatale.

That to me, is not a Britney album. Its a Dr. Luke album featuring Britney & co. 

Look at the credits for Circus in comparison:

Most songs have only one person credited as background vocalist. (And even then I give side-eye to Lace and Leather.)

But Circus was much more "Britney" in the vocals, even though there is still trickery.

FF and BJ are almost on equal levels as far as "offenders" go.

Check Your Facts Hun.  Myah’s Father Says She Did Half The Vocals Of Britney Jean, Not Femme Fatale.  Also, Trouble For Me Is Most Definitely A Britney Track, I Downloaded The Vocal Stems A While Ago And All Lead Vocals Are Labeled As Britney, But To Your Credit No BGV Are Labeled Britney.  And It Is A Background Vocal Heavy Song.  The Same Goes For Circus.  I’m Sorry If You Really Believe That, But Britney Jean Is Myah Jean, And FF Is Not Myah Fatale, And Circus Is Circus.  There’s Not Always A Conspiracy With Brit.  Stop Making A Mountain Out Of A Molehill.
