I just rewatched the I am Britney Jean documentary today (at work :pieceofwhat:) after 7 years and I could not wrap my head around the fact this is the same human being we saw in For the Record, I am the Femme Fatale (:miley: ) or even on instagram these past 2-3 years.

Have you ever rewatched the I am Britney Jean documentary since it first aired in 2013?

I watched it few months ago and it was mess (but she still looked more alive than FFney during "I am Femme Fatale") :yesokay: For the Record is unarguably the best documentary released since 2008.

Also why they used the ugly filter on Britney's face during confessionals? Also the stretched image is weird :cheese:

Definitely the MTV Diary special and another MTV special, All Eyes Eyes On Britney Spears. :comingthru:

I found myself watching videos from different eras and just being sooo confused how a person can change so much every few years :mhm:

Stages and In The Zone & Out All Night are quite a dramatic change and they’re only a year apart. It’s fascinating but I’ve never been able to pin point just how it happens. Are there any other pop stars like this?

Talking about TV specials, do you guys remember an E! special which aired in 2004, it was about the ITZ album and The Onyx Hotel Tour rehearsals and backstage, she even did an interview, I always try to look it up online but it seems like it is impossible to find it. I kinda remember she is sitting in a chair and wearing a being skirt and white blouse.

After many years I have become obssesed because I cannot find it.

Oh really 😂 I can understand why one could see it as a bit boring

I mostly just find it wholesome how people from throughout her life surprise her it's so cute:) and the part where the dancers dance to a megamix of her singles that's a bop:lollipop:

It's pretty easy to explain, actually.  She's constantly being put in the spotlight.

If you did a documentary/special almost every other year from 1999-2013, then you are going to constantly be different.

In many ways, I think Britney goes through the same life struggles as other human beings, but she's constantly in the spotlight.

I also think she genuinely loves to perform.  But part of this is probably because she didn't learn or wasn't allowed to learn to do much else. On the other hand, does Britney even want to do anything else given how she's been mostly managed since she was 16?  And what part does the conservatorship play in this, particularly from 2011-present?

E! did two specials on Britney in the 2000s: One in 2004 and one in 2008:

Yeah that's the only thing I like about it too. Her childhood neighbor. Cause she cried and anytime cries i'm like :crying4:

Oh yay its online!

Is it on youtube or only on dailymotion?

And yeah its weird how she seems more lively and bubbly here than in her other recent documentaries.

She has the same enthusiasm here like she did in her prime.
