She always lip synced. Rembember the ITZ era? Everything was lip synced besides some Everytime performances.

She had some live vocals after 2007 - Circur tour (Everytime, sound off etc), FF tour (almost every song was pre-recorded but her mic WAS on for songs like Burning up or DLBTLTK) or Piece of me (happy birthdaaaaay)

She doesnt sing live because she simply doesnt want to. And no, I dont believe that she sings live but doesnt know that her mic is off. No. She knows its off. Thats why she always turns her mic on before saying I CANT HEAR YOU.

Her songs are difficult to replicate live cause she is, most of the time, singing outside of her  vocal register. I still have hope that someday she'll release an album with her real voice (not that fake contrived baby voice she has been told to sing in).

Yes! I hope that too! Her real voice is amazing. Still, she can pre-record her songs.

They don't even bother anymore since people are still paying bucks to see her live. I loved when they did for the Oops Tour though, definitely gave a more organic dimension to her performances.

Her team doesn't care to make her look like an idiot, they only care about the $$$ 

Our only hope for this to change is if she's out of the Cship one day and she has total control over her music, it would be interesting to see what direction she would take and how big of a change that could be.

There’s a clip from 2002 or so when she was doing promo in Japan and was asked before a performance of INAGNYAW if she was nervous and she answered ‘nah, it’s all playback”. I personally don’t really care because Britney is a performer, the times I saw her live all I wanted to see was her dancing, and we’re used to it tbh

I saw some users here stating that her mic is off because of her team being afraid. Of course we're used to see her dancing! But dancing, not "dancing". ANd I do wish her songs were pre-recorded.
