I never understood the speech, sometimes I feel like she really believes her lipsynch it's not that obvious. 

This is my favorite performance of the whole residency, not only because the live vocals. She was feeling It.

I think Britney's tired of being THE Britney Spears. Headmic, dance routines, the **** kitten character all the time.

A reinvention could do wonders for her as an artist.

Btw, I really liked her vocals here for something probably improvised, was an amazing surprise.

Sometimes I wonder if she would be better off performing with a hand-held mic instead of the headset all the time. She wouldn't be expected to dance as much. JLo does that and she has light choreography and then dance breaks. Sometimes I think when Britney wears the headset people expect her to be like old Britney and bust out an insane routine. She could even lip with a hand-held ha.

Really... I’m obsessed with folklore even though I’m normally not a huge Taylor Stan. An album similar from Britney would kill me.

You actually have to pay to license songs for public performance and the track clearly cued up and ready so this wasn't as spontaneous as it might have appeared. It's possible she arranged it all secretly...maybe...but I doubt this was a daring as it appears.

This is true. We were told a week before hand by Jordan (I think) that she was rehearsing this as a one off performance for a show later that week. Pretty sure we got the song name and the exact date it was going to happen- there were shows between the leak and the actual performance so it was specifcally planned.

That was more of in the style of Journey than Mariah. If anything, she was paying homage to Steve Perry.
