Rosie O'donnell was kinda a jerk...

Despite how different they are from each others, both artistically and personality-wise, Mariah always had nothing but kind words for Britney. I like Mariah because, even tho she's one of the best vocalists of all time, she never shaded Britney or disrespected her. Britney had a very bad reputation back then for lipsyncing and stuff but Mariah never said a bad word about it so i appreciate that. P!nk, Xtina, Avril Lavigne all talked **** about Britney's lipsyncing. Mariah didn't, that is enough to prove how jealous and insecure the other girls were about Britney's success.

Rosie O'donnell's comments always make me so uncomfortable, not only here, but when Britney herself was at the studio and she "grounded" her because of her nipples showing through her outfit on that performance, like who the hell does she think she is to tell her anything? :idkney: And in front of an audience and on live television, it's like, who asked for her opinion?

Completely off topic, but...

I can't believe Tucker Carlson interviewed Britney & that he worked for CNN! Also, it looked like he was talking to Anderson Cooper about the interview which just seems crazy! What the heck happened to him to make him go full on fox news crazy?

Also, could serial ******-assaulter Matt Lauer get any freaking closer in his interview with her?!

I completely agree with u about Mariah. I also like Ariana for that. I know Ariana isnt as great as Mariah used to be, but still, girl has a voice, sings live, was on Broadway and is praised on her singing voice, still she never said **** about Britneys playback and actually seems to love Britney. And Ariana is really popular, yet she doesnt use this to shade other artists like others do. Btw I know Avril back in the day criticized Britney for her outfits, **** image, but I didnt know she talked about the playback too?

I don't think she was exactly "sticking up" for Britney. If you actually know Mariah, she doesn't talk sh1t about anyone. Like even if she doesn't have anything to say, she will just say "i don't know her" (shady yes, but not blatant) or "no comment". :mcry:

She just said "she's a nice girl" because she doesn't know what to say to Rosie. Mimi may or may not agree with Rosie's stand on Britney's outfits but she would never go out of her way to actually say she agrees or not. She will just avoid the conversation with a response such as "she's a nice girl" - which is true anyway. :mattafact:

Can you imagine absolute strangers thinking it's okay to ask if your hymen is intact? Or someone justifying wanting to shoot you in order to "shield the kids"? I'm actually fuming right now. This isn't new in the slightest, but it's the fact that the media doesn't even bother to correct this. So many people owe Britney an apology, and the popstars today ought to say thank you. They may be subject to criticism, but they will never hear any of the bulls.hit Britney heard every d.amn day.

I like how the only parent in this video to acknowledge his responsibility to guide his children was Eminem.

I was a kid during this time, and all I really remember my mom (who was a fitness junkie) telling me how hard Britney has to work to look like that. She was showing off her healthy, athletic body. Then we had dangerously thin girls hit the scene a few years later, but I guess that was fine because they had more clothes on and weren't dancing as much.

As an adult, I think Britney is a very positive role model. She is always sweet and kind and gracious, and her body is natural, fit, and aspirational. She shows that it's okay to play a character, as we all have to do to some capacity at some point in our lives, and put our hair up in a bun, take off our shoes, and be ourselves when the time is right. These people were just inventing outrage to get viewers at the expense of another human being.
