Roxxy
It's one of the best off the album. Link to comment
Jam.
It’s one of her best songs in her entire discography imo, but I rarely listen to it, it’s just so haunting and sad Link to comment
Alestaos
Its a gorgeous song, i remember seeing her live performing it in Onyx Hotel. Talk about magical! Link to comment
Content Curators Midnight Posted July 28, 2020 Content Curators Share Posted July 28, 2020 It's the best ballad Britney has I wanna be there when you touch fire Link to comment
Hooked-On-Knee
I agree! I even preferred it over Everytime at one point but now Everytime is my favourite because it's so simple yet evokes so much emotion. Shadow is definitely overshadowed by Everytime but it still is great! Link to comment

Adriannn
Shadow is a masterpiece, it’s heartfelt, timeless. I once read a rumor about a version of it in Spanish... Es sólo tu sombra, nunca eres tú, es sólo tu sombra, y nadie más 🎼 Those lines actually fit pretty well, call me, Brit Link to comment

She never stopped moving across the stage, she was engaged with her fans. She spoke to the fans twice, once in Everytime (which ended in the entire stadium chanting her name) in which she laughed and cried. And just before the encore as well she said "I love you guys, thanks for such a great night manachester (UK). It was a fantastic night and i was #blessed to be apart of it, the stadium came alive with her! Link to comment
OriginalDoll1
This song is so haunting, one of my favourites from her Link to comment
Isla
I prefer Everytime although this is still a great song. I love the haunting, electro production and the Onyx performance was beautiful! Link to comment
Super Mods princessmimi Posted July 29, 2020 Super Mods Share Posted July 29, 2020 Yes its DEFINITELY underrated especially compared to Everytime. I think it could've been a single if Everytime wasnt already one Link to comment

I've heard she had a lot of nights where she wasn't great vocally but that her dance was on-point Link to comment
CJMCH
Love this ballad, I wish the spanish version would leak (if she recorded it) Link to comment
Peter Pan
I actually don’t really like it anymore. *hides* I kinda grew tired of it. I’m not a huge fan of the melody anymore. It’s also quite cheesy compared to the rest of ITZ. And sadly not the good kind of cheesy. I did enjoy the onyx performance back in 2004! it looked beautiful! Link to comment
Rob_
It’s a sweet song. It’s not on any of my playlists but I still appreciate it. Link to comment
