Camille Claudel was a French sculptor who endured a similar saga, that ended much more sadly than Frances Farmer's (and, hopefully, Britney's). There were two films made about her. The first, with Isabelle Adjani, is the better of the two. The second one, with Juliette Binoche, is almost too depressing to watch.
