I suggest rewatching the Stages documentary

I just watched it on YouTube after not seeing it since the original dvd release. I’m mind blown and it makes the situation she’s in right now so much clearer and sadder. She was visibly over worked, lonely and swimming in a team of opportunists. There was clear signs of depression and anxiety that seem to have started around this time. some observations:

Fe is an absolute angel. She very clearly deeply loved and respected Britney. She said she had to make sure no one took advantage of Britney’s generosity and my heart sank. I wish she was still involved in Britney’s day to day life. The story Fe told about Lynne asking her to travel with Britney because she was only 15 was an eye opener. Britney was in the bathroom and Lynne was convincing Fe to be her care taker. Fe agreed to 3 months of it. The story felt so awkward. I can’t imagine being 15 and having that decided for me. 

Her security guard Rob is another one she needs back in her life. She kissed his back in a hotel elevator and it was the most sincere moment of the whole documentary. 

Johnny Wright was a better manager than Larry. He seemed to have respected her a little more. He spoke so highly of her in it, and it’s the same things he says to this day. 

The death of her dancer/friend Andre had to have been a big set back for Britney. I forgot how far back they go. She seemed close to him even early on. 

It’s no wonder she doesn’t know how to book a hotel reservation. She literally had no time or energy to do any normal activities herself. She was closely guarded even back then.

But Brit herself throws them out of her life because she feels so "Overprotected".She said back then, she didn´t like it who they push everything out of her way like a child. Kevin has a huge part in that too.

 

But why she doesn´t take them back?

 

When I watched stages, I was surprised how isolated Brit was. They don´t even let her dancers close to her! I always thought they were friends! And they spend some time together after work.

Ive seen the documentary and you can tell this was right when her break up with JT was fresh cause

she wasn't as bubbly and happy as before, she seemed kinda *****y at times tbh.

I love it though cause it was honestly the last glimpse we got of the old her

Agreed! I remember at one point, when she was under the stage during concert, she had so many people around her - touching her. It made me think of when she shaved her head and said “I’m tired of people touching me.” 😱

I absolutely love the rawness. Glimpses of the real her. I, for one, have always thought Chaotic was an amazing treasure. (even when it first came out ❤️)

You can understand too many details .

- Her family was always away from her, she looks very united to her family, until the point like looking for aprooval in those times. This looks like no distractions between lines between jive and spears family to sign that contract.

- Being so focus, trained, disciplinated to perform, but not to answer questions or handle media.

- Her schedule so busy her 2000 year, she need to rehearsal 2 different shows for this year the crazy 2k and next the oops tour in the same year, plus tv appearences + tv performances + everything, a difficult calendar for a 18 year old girl.

- Mexico or stages was revealing for her in all the ways, the open press conference, her mood, the astrologist (i got my doubts about it,  what he said, why he didn't talk about cancelling the other concert)  the way that not putting another show in mex, all was BTEAM desition 18 years ago. 

- Kevin crossing the line, teressa the dancer presented kevin to britney just to have fun in a club, he was dating to star jackson, he left star jackson pregnant just to go touring with britney in europe, then you can expect what history comes and what type of person he is.

- Many scandals were just created by marketing, her team never focused of britney personal grow.

- many britney spears movements was selled by someone, that breakdown was planified, its not just coincidence.

- On in the zone, road to miami, ITZ out all night britney looks empty , like miami onyx special, she looks not at best mood, look the everytime speech she gots, she almost cry.

edit: also the relation with justin, her face its like something unfair happen, like justin created a image by her that is don't, is something weird when they ask about JT her deception face, its not when a girl cheats someone, its when someone use that for promo and talking sh***

Imo, the best behind-the-scenes Britney documentary out there. It's so raw and really gives you an insight as to how much pressure she went through at the height of her stardom. It was the beginning of an end and ironically depicted/foreshadowed what was yet to come during the next stage in her life. I feel like it's a great documentary for any non-stan, or just anyone in general who is interested in understanding Britney/fame and what she internally went through as one of the most in-demand superstars of her time. You can also tell she was hurting inside and felt very vulnerable around that time. The level of fame and scrutiny she endured at the age of 20 was simply abnormal and 'Stages' represented that while shining light on Britney as the beautiful human being she is.

Kevin and Shar were never married, just wanted to point that out, the start of Brit and Kevin’s relationship was already scandalous, don’t need to make it sound even worse, lol
