Predictions for video of the year nominees at the 2020 VMAs

The MTV VMAs are still happening (with no audience). 

While it feels wildly unimportant at this moment in time for an awards show, I think it's what the world needs; a little distraction to give our faves a moon man and celebrate music. I actually low-key loathe award shows but I'm actually looking forward to this. 

Billboard predicted who they think will be nominated in the video of the year category. We'll know for sure come July 30th when the nominations are announced.

Here's what we might expect:

Actually, I wouldnt mind if Say So wins. That would be a good runner up. But an iconic collab between Gaga and Ariana like Rain On Me only happens once in a lifetime and it deserves the spotlight

If Camila Cabello gets one nomination or win, I'm officially done with the VMAs and will only ever watch if Britney Spears returns. I will then 100% sure know her label is buying her awards. I already feel like 90% of her career is payola but this will be the nail in the coffin.

Well, get prepared. Because, she actually released 7 videos that are eligible for nominations. Those being, "Find U Again" (with Mark Ronson), "Shameless", "Liar", "South of the Border" (with Ed Sheeran and Cardi B), "Living Proof", "My Oh My" (feat. DaBaby), and "First Man".

They were all flop songs and non iconic. Thats what i mean, if she gets nominated for anything it's all B.S.

i think even when they can't have audience, they could offer a great show also, not everything needs to be home , you can rent a arena for a production, the labels couldn't be so hunger
